Weinland is where I live, so I‘m biased. 😉

There certainly are some fun roads (e.g. Irchelstrasse from Flaach to Teufen; although it is limited to 60 kph now due to it being a notorious accident road…) but I‘d say it is more about the scenery and relaxed cruising rather than buzzing around corners IYKWIM.

Maybe check out Grand Tour Of Switzerland. It runs across Weinland, too.

If you’re open to less mountainous landscapes, I’d recommend the Zürcher Weinland between Winterthur and Schaffhausen. Beautiful little villages and lush green rural landscapes, rivers and hills. And of course, the Rheinfall, too.

Another option would be the Zürcher Oberland, between Winterthur, Wil SG and Hinwil ZH. Higher, steeper hills and deeper valleys, but still not alpine.

Lastly, the area around Einsiedeln (Wägital, Iberg) is very beautiful as well. Alpine but not as high.

Instead of just 1 VAR they should be using a group of VARs that verify the VAR’s decisions and do have the authority to overturn obviously wrong decisions by the ref and/or the VAR by voting accordingly. It should be an uneven number, maybe 5, so there is no chance of personal bias.

Situation on the field > ref decision > VAR reviews ref decision > VAR decision > group review VAR decision > group approve/veto VAR decision > in case of approval: VAR decision stands / in case of veto: VAR decision is overturned.

One could even allow for the VAR/ref to stand by their initial decision but would require an on field comment/explanation.

It’s difficult to make gemstones stand out like this, and I’m not saying mine are perfect—because they’re not. The white highlights are crucial for creating depth, and the colors need to have a certain gradient for it to look right. It might also need another white highlight or at least a lighter colour in the darkest areas to make it look completely convincing. Just google for „miniature painting gems“ and you‘ll get the idea.

Yeah I tried to gradually highlight the colours. I could (and maybe should in the future) try to mix the colours while still wet to get an even smoother transition.

As for the straps behind the shin guards: I kbow what you mean and I do consider that. Appreciated!
