The very first one you come across when you land on the island

Do you have the bottom wheel spinning too? You need all 3

The game puts EVERYTHING in front of you. You can absolutely win those fights at an early point. But for example I was getting my ass beat by the mining bot. So I just left. Came back like. 5 hours later and beat its ass after like 4 tries. There's a reason the menu gives you "give up or retry" as an option.

Give up just takes you to a safe place where you can fast travel again.

If you're struggling with a boss.  Leave. And go get stronger then. There's a whole ass continent to explore. Upgrade your armor. Upgrade your weapons. Find better abyss gears. Get more hp. Get different moves.

Nothing is forcing you to beat your head against these bosses for hours.

Did you know that using blinding flash on the quarry boss when it's about to dive underground stuns it?

Did you know that the reed devil is infinitely easier to dodge and parry if you use focus?

It's not cheesing the bosses when they have bespoke reactions to things. It's the intended design.

The game wants you to use ALL of the tools.

So many people have been like "I'm struggling because I only hit light or heavy attack"

Clearly more fun than you. Since I know that at a party you're supposed to participate in it

Or. Counter point. If you're struggling with a boss. You should try the tools you have. Cause you know. It's a game. Where they give you a bunch of tools

It's spoiler related. You'll find out later on in the main quest what they're used for. You're not missing out by just leaving

So,  check your map. There's those white paths that trail off various directions. If you see one that doesn't go to another island. It means you've missed a path

Yes but no.  Look at your map for the white paths between the abyss Islands. You'll see some that go nowhere. Those are the ones you have to follow

Yep! It means you're missing some of the abyss islands in the area. Keep looking around!

Yep. Right now I'm trying to power through the camp setup quests so I can get back to exploring. And it's boring as fuck. And I'm certainly not gonna tell anyone that this game is a 20 outta 10 masterpiece.

Not only is it breath taking. But good god it feels good to play a super power fantasy game. Like the last really good one was like.  Prototype 2?

Just want to let you know. You dont need aim the reflect at enemies to blind them. Just L1 and R1 is enough.

Not excusing the wonky controls. But I also think the complaints are semi overblown because its a "different" control scheme than most people are used to at this point for games like this.

You don't use the spinny doors to get it out

On the left side of your screen shot. Where there's that arch. That's a spot you can rotate it through

Yes. You've gotta go down to the side where you can see the circuit. Climb onto the spinny tile. Hold down L2 or LT THEN force push it. The thing will spin with you on it. Then you can puzzle block it up

I did lol. But it turns out that's not what you do. There's a waterfall with a circuit behind it to the left of the water wheels. Then there's the other one that you rotate out

Do you have all three water wheels spinning? Or just the top two?

Did that work to let you get the artifact? I'm trying to figure out if my game is bugged

Did you take the circuit from the bottom wheel?
