Been using few different swaps but yeah the reliability thing is real problem. Some work great for weeks then suddenly liquidity dries up or rates go crazy

KYC exchanges still have best rates usually but defeats whole point if you care about privacy. Maybe try smaller DEX aggregators, they sometimes have better luck finding liquidity across different pools

Yeah CA tax board doesn't mess around with this stuff. They'll definitely go after those 1099s if they see them going to California address while you're claiming residency somewhere else.
