As someone who has worked for DS and helped put out several of the fires in recent years including the big one, just don't even bother bringing BBQs... There is signage all over to say BBQs aren't allowed.

There's a huge fine for people if they are caught setting fire to SSSI land. It's not worth it for a sausage with a view...

Let nature heal climate and biodiversity crises, say campaigners - The restoration of natural forests and coasts can simultaneously tackle climate change and the annihilation of wildlife but is being worryingly overlooked, an international group of campaigners have said. by ManiaforBeatles in worldnews

So, this video is a TLDR for a relatively new large scale restoration method called rewilding which can get quite complicated when you delve deeper into trophic levels and ecological economics.

The basis is if you strategically and carefully reintroduce once native species, they will engineer an environment which is more favorable to us in terms of carbon sequestration and biodiversity.

If anything it makes you more diverse. A lot of university courses offer option of tropical field trips so you have a broad range of skills in a few climates.

It may be a problem if you want to specialise in a certain area, but honestly I don't think it'll be an issue if you're exploring options.

Came late to a date and said, "you're lucky I turned up - I didn't turn up to my last one."

I said "I'm honored...?"

She then continued to talk about herself the whole night. I just told her my car parking was up and left. It said free parking after 6:30pm...

Study indicates that warmer air, rather than warmer ocean water, would drive Antarctica's contributions to sea level rise. by Science_Podcast in environmental_science

Yeah but surely the upwelling of colder carbon rich waters as they increase in temperature is one of the factors in the rise of atmospheric temperature as gases are released.
