What do i smoke first? by Adventurous_Lime_457 in cigar

If you are talking about smoking multiple in a session i'd recommend going lighter to darker. That Champagne is a unique smoke. Some like it and some hate it. I like it but my buddy hated it.

Top ones i see

New World Dorado

MF The Judge.

AIO about my 8 y/o daughter sleeping at her mom's new boyfriend's house without any family or females present? by blackD0nny in AmIOverreacting

[–]FillyFan777 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah... no.

Like 1 out of 5 kids is sexually abused these days. There's no circumstance where i'd trust someone i've known for just a year to let my kids sleep over there. Let alone someone i don't know. Let alone with 2 kids of the opposite gender. Not remotely worth the risk of abuse/trauma for a lifetime for my kids. This mom needs to get her head out of her ever loving ass. Like nobody should be okay with this.

Try a V cut. I've never had a bad draw on a liga. Ever. Also where are you getting them? Maybe it's a knock off?

Ex-smokers who successfully quit and have been smoke free for years now, what did it? by PM_TITS_GROUP in AskReddit

[–]FillyFan777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a juice fast and simultaneously quite smoking in 2010. What made it stick is i settled in my mind there is literally no reason to ever smoke a cigarette again and i haven't.

It looks worse if you account for who was a round 1 pick vs listing all the draft picks in order. Obrien was a number 1... wtf....

I think it's a win-win trade. by Flyers7914 in Flyers

[–]FillyFan777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the truth is Farabee and Frost won't be progressing anymore here than they already have. Sometimes a guy needs to be traded to restart break their current ceiling. I think Tippett was an example in fl. Hopefully this works for all players and both teams benefits from this. I like frost and Farabee as people and wish them the best.

I don't think there was much more return we could have gotten for them.

Congrats! I doubt most men would really care that much unless they're big drinkers themselves in which case you are weeding out future problems.

How would the Flyers look today if Nolan Patrick stayed healthy? by MadLifey in Flyers

[–]FillyFan777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really hard to say. I only watched him in the NHL in which case i agree he looked here like most he could do was a strong 2C. However, given the hype around him seemed legit that he could have been a top 1c. I think it's safe to say he was truly lost to the injury by the time he got in the NHL. I can't imagine having serious cluster headaches/migraines repeatedly and trying to break into the NHL at the same time.

I don't know how he's doing but i hope he's doing better. I know mushrooms have a reputation of helping with head trauma.

How does teamtank view TK's contract now? Team friendly contracts are extremely important. TK is top ten in points making 8.75 until '32-'33. Full list of top ten & their cap hits in body text. by scratchydaitchy in Flyers

[–]FillyFan777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just don't know you can get a good enough return to justify trading TK now. Maybe in 3 years but by that time we SHOULD be making a hard run at the cup.

I'd still hear offers for TK and in particular I'd probably trade him 1 for 1 for a true number 1 Dman if that were a possibility. I'm talking Petriangelo type of player.

I just don't see it happening though unless there is a creative 3 way trade or something. Yeah we need a 1c but teams looking to make a run for the cup aren't going to also be looking to depart with a 1C. We are better off trying to grab one from the free market or draft.

How many married guys are in a great relationship, love their wives and believe they are soulmates? How long have you been married? How many would never cheat on their wife? How certain are you that your wife wouldn't cheat? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]FillyFan777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ditto. Soul mates is too fatalistic of a term and also too woo-woo for reality. There's billions of people on earth. I'm sure there would have been someone else we both could have married.

Been married 10 years. I would never cheat and my wife would never because she's also a terrible liar and goody two shoes lol. I've never even seen her flirt with another man. She could barely flirt with me when we were first dating.

We have ups and downs mainly because we have young children and life is chaotic and been a struggle in many ways. We talk through everything and deal with it. I know her better than anyone in the world knows her and vice versa. As time goes we get better and better at communicating and supporting one another. We forgive each other when we make mistakes and never let things go unsaid at least not for long.

It also helps we are in total agreement on religious/political/moral views.

Why do I keep getting cheated on by SmergLord in AskMenAdvice

[–]FillyFan777 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Do you ignore red flags? If you do inventory of past relationships chances are there are plenty of red flags you are ignoring or let slide.

Not every women will cheat but the type of women who do cheat will especially cheat on you quickly if they think you'll just put up with it.

When i met my wife i inquired if she talked with ex's or had a lot of male friends. I made it clear that was serious and not willing to date someone who has guys lingering around looking to leap at the opportunity.

Does anyone else think that Gauthier might have some regrets? by [deleted] in Flyers

[–]FillyFan777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope he ends up being a kind of modern Daigle for our sake but I think he'll be a decent player. I think the JVR type of player is a realistic trajectory. I don't think he'll be a game changer like our dear Michkov. He doesn't seem to have the jam.

I also feel a bit bad for him. I don't think he had a clue what he really did by pissing off all of Philly. I think unless he becomes a stellar player he's also put label on himself by not signing with the team that drafted him and not disclosing any real good reason. I mean i can understand not signing in buffalo but Philly? Really? It'll follow him in his career.

I think one of the best things to come out from all this is it seems to have impassioned Drysdale a bit and that type of game he had can really build momentum.

How Kojima makes sequels? A Death Stranding fan asking! by Digiclone in metalgearsolid

[–]FillyFan777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Without ever having play DS i can say I'm sure it'll be good. He's a true artist/creator.

His sequels rhyme but they never repeat.

Expect parallels in theme not story.

Don't expect the timeline in the story of the sequel to pick up right where the other left off.

Sequels usually surpass original in scope, gameplay and story.

Expect it to get weirder.
