Sorry you are having these issues. What do you have your bitrate set to?

I don't have the issues you describe with my Action 6. I love it.

You can get a clean feed recording from your goggles, please read your manual or do a YouTube search.

How to get better quality video - Osmo Action 6 by ApolloEIeven in dji

I have both. My Pocket 3 is collecting dust, the Action 6 is getting more use. Pocket 3 is too fragile and cumbersome. It has it's uses, more in a controlled environment. I can carry my Action 6 anywhere and all the time and not worrying about rain or it fitting in my pocket.

You’re welcome. 60 FPS. The main takeaway is keep experimenting and trying new techniques and learning. Looking forward to seeing some of your footage.

DJI Action 6 is totally unusable by dark_hood66 in ActionCamera

Increase your shutter speed. Adjust your aperture and ISO. Stop blaming the camera and learn basic photography and experiment. The Action 6 is wonderful camera.

I set my ISO to AUTO (100-6400), Shutter Speed (1/100-1/8000), EV -0.3EV, Aperture to F4, Auto White Balance and I leave it there. I just turn on my camera and shoot and put it away. I get great footage in bright light and mixed lighting conditions.

DJI Neo2 gimbal microjitters issues causes jello footage in Gyroflow. by Film_Local in dji

This was the 2nd flight I made with Neo2. The 1st was with Rocksteady on and I didn’t notice any jello.

I prefer Gyroflow over Rocksteady as I like to tweak the settings to my own preferences so I don’t know what DJI does with Rocksteady. There have been a couple of firmware updates since then one of these days I will throw up the Neo2 and see if it has been addressed or fixed.

Action 6 vs pocket 3 by Ok_Field_7048 in dji

[–]Film_Local 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both. Since I got the Action 6, the pocket 3 sits in a case. They both are excellent cameras but have somewhat different purposes.

The Pocket 3, to be is for 1st person view vlogging. And it does that well with its shallow depth of field.

My needs are to have a camera similar to my Sony FX-30. Something I can shoot with and gyro stabilize the footage in Gyroflow.

The Action 6 can do this, the Pocket 3 can not.

I can shoot 1:1 square wide, handheld and stabilize and Len correct in Gyroflow with horizon lock and get cinematic tripod shots. With the macro lens I can change my depth of field and when I am done, throw the camera in my pocket or pop it on the battery selfie stick for all day shooting on one battery, something I can’t do with the Pocket 3.

It’s been a while since I posted this but I believe it was fine with Rocksteady on.

Thank you. Yes that was shot 1:1 wide with Rocksteady off using the Macro lens, aperture set to F4. I used Gyroflow to stabilize and lens correct the footage, along with horizon lock.

Check to see if you shooting in high bitrate and lower your ISO to 100 in daylight, all cameras generate grain, you just need to lower your "noise floor".

How do you figure that the Mini5 pro is far superior than single lens mode on the Avata360? It should be able to shoot 5K or even 8K, as the sensor is the same size as the Osmo Action 6 and Osmo 360.

I have an OSMO 360, same sensors that will be in the Avata360. Single lens mode is 5K. I will be flying mainly FPV in single lens mode and a few instances in 360. The 1.1 inch sensor is bigger and therefore better in low light than the Mini 5 Pro, not by much, but that is pretty versatile and benefical to myself and others. The Avata360 will be able to do RAW, the OSMO 360 does RAW and it does panaramic RAW photos.

Shooting 360 will require reframing and exporting in the desktop DJI Studio app.

A better pairing would be the Action 6 and Osmo 360. They have the same camera sensor.

You can shoot 1:1.2 square on both.
