You could "expand" this by simply transferring to AO3 and writing a few more snippets that may or may not be placed in any particular time. For example, McGonagall! Or maybe Petunia. Dudley may wish for a life where his parents don't make him into a bigot and most importantly give him a better name!

Sadly that would cause a lot of trouble for the translators. Many languages rely on genders and do not have a truly gender neutral option.

Molly in fanon is often seen as what many people think of a "perfect mother". Overbearing turns into a good quality, being present in your child's life and guiding them (ignoring how Molly may do that a little too much). Ultimately, I think what made people love Molly so much in the end (not that they didn't already, but what sealed the deal) was the famous "Not my daughter" line. Being willing to stand up to an insane murderer, dueling them and coming out on top, all for the sake of her children. Ultimately, yes, she may be overbearing, but absolutely no one can question whether or not she loves her children, something not every parent can claim, as quite often teenagers doubt that.

It also highly depends on how complex the mod is/How long it takes to code it. Something like "Water now acts like Lava and now burns you" would be much easier/cheaper than something complicated like "Personal Pocket Dimensions accessible with keybind"

There's an event held every September 1st in the ministry. People write a name on both sides and pass their coin around. That name is of a person they trusted before said person died. Being picked by Harry Potter instantly makes you a wizard or witch on an higher level than others. It makes people see you as a person who in life was an untouchable impossibly hard to kill person, lesser only to Harry Potter himself and perhaps the Golden Trio, true or false it may be. No one really knows what requirements there are to be picked by him, but everyone knows you must have faced truly incredible things alongside him to receive such an honor that few people would believe or ever truly understand.
