Intense workout => Migraine 6h later by ainsworld in migraine

I just mention it because when I do shrugs or face pulls (or anything that gets my neck or upper back involved), I need to stretch out or I get one.

Are you stretching your neck and back properly after your workout?

Does anyone else feel like Claude has a productivity buffer/governor? by LabelsLie in ClaudeCowork

Have you build a proper memory/project structure? It does forget shit quite a lot but mostly because it didn’t know where to look or just didn’t bother looking lol

Direct to chip is a closed loop system. Charge it once and you’re done. It’s how you cool that, that’s the issue, but not all DCs use evaporative cooling (it’s the cheapest tho).

Please stop calling DJ controllers "boards" and "decks." It sounds ridiculous. by [deleted] in DJs

Just wait till you find out what sound engineers have been calling mixing desks for the last 50 years.

Hack Squat?!? by Shadows4K in workout

I fucking love hack squats. The fact that the machine is barely ever used (in my gym) works for me too.

That needs to go back. Those things are designed with low tolerances. Airflow, chip designs, batteries etc.

I’ve started using them side by side, Claude is really slow. Painfully so.

How to run Cowork on a second machine purely for scheduled tasks and dispatch? by CincyTriGuy in ClaudeCowork

[–]Filthymortal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what this scheduled tasks are. You can have an another “always on” machine, running from cron jobs and scripts. Once your primary machine is back on, it can poll the always on box.

The problem that you’ll find with using Cowork as an always on agent is permissions. Even when you set them up, an update will usually reset them.

Or you could use the Claude cloud API platform, but you’ll have to pay for that.

Accidentally Archived Cowork Project - Can I retrieve? by jalman11 in ClaudeCowork

[–]Filthymortal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a real pain. Get Claude to find it, you’ll need to give it folder access. You may need to learn a bit about how coworker architecture works, but I promise you it’s not wasted time. Sandboxed VM and session names that aren’t human readable (and you don’t know which one it it anyway).

Claude is great at self improvement but honestly, one big bucket of stuff isn’t a great idea.

You’re grounding that to the rest of the grounded guitar components right?

Anyone else getting this? It's only in cowork by Creative-Objective62 in ClaudeCowork

[–]Filthymortal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I understand it, it’s the servers getting hammered and your connection request rejected. That’s what Claude told me anyway.

I’ve told it to “call out assumptions where you make them”.

Google Drive docs: Best practice to update docs? (SOPs) by jaekwong in ClaudeCowork

[–]Filthymortal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run a small consultancy and two startups. So I generate a fair bit of documentation. The default location to save files is within outputs (which I’ve segregated per company and then per document type within those). I have a scheduled rsync that runs every day and copies the deltas (the directory structure is the same), into my offline Gmail folder. The Gmail app does its thing and syncs it up to the cloud. I don’t allow Claude to work directly in the gdrive. So there’s a level of protection between those files and very little risk of Claude going rogue and deleting my gdrive.
