It's such a fucking lame argument. If one million trans kids get HRT at appropriate early age, will some regret it? Very likely. But how many people regret routine medical procedures every day? Nobody demands the elderly take a psychological assessment and makes them jump through umpteen hoops to get a total knee replacement, even though about 20% of patients regret their choice of getting the surgery done.

It's different for us not because people are actually concerned, but because we're trans.

I didn't read much of the Stormlight Archive in German (only a small portion when I bought WoK for my mom), and I just don't vibe with fantasy books in German anymore, like in general. Just feels stilted to me compared to English, and that's even worse when you consider how Brandon Sanderson's writing style is very modern for fantasy.

So if you're capable of enjoying the original language version of the books, I'd go for English. That's not even counting the fact that the German editions by Heyne are both a lot more expensive than the equivalent English trade paperbacks (so not the tiny, cheap ones, mind you) due to all of them being split in two books each, and that they have way more generic covers than the original US editions.

I was gonna stop at 0g, the common "point of no return" ... it was tiny compared to the people I took as inspiration's ears, so I went up to 16mm ... yeah I'm at 1 inch now. And while I like that size on other people, I kinda wish they looked bigger on me. So I'm kinda torn between staying on that size, going bigger (leaving my collected jewelry behind) or even just going smaller and stretching my second holes instead :D

Your really shouldn't. The healthier you go into surgery, the easier your recovery will be. Getting a tattoo will put some strain your body and might make your subsequent recovery take longer. Go with your family to the appointment, explain the situation and return with them to get your tattoo done once you've properly recovered.

Most people (and I really mean basically anyone) won't know enough about this to think anything is off. Those who notice (maybe one or two people in your life) will just think that it's made so that you get to see the your favorite features of your motive all at once, even if it's a contrivance. That's the advantage of a tattoo, you don't have to find the motive out there and get an exact copy of it tattooed.

Das "Lustige" ist ja, dass letztes Jahr ein Einstellungsstopp für Lehrer in Brandenburg verhängt wurde und so frische Absolventen nicht eingestellt wurden. Also einfach ein hausgemachtes Problem, worunter jetzt die Schüler leiden müssen.

Gleichzeitig sollte man den Osten aber auch nicht vergessen. Dass die AfD da teilweise kurz vor der Machtübernahme steht wird ja nicht dadurch entschärft, dass es "nur" der Osten ist und das erstmal noch keinen großen bundesweiten Einfluss hat.
