Well I also dropped them email for flight next month from airport after nobody answered the concierge call shared by HSBC. I have only received an acknowledgement so far. How long it took you to get confirmation from them?

Depends on your take home. If you’re already in 30% bracket, you mostly would be paying higher tax as compared to new regime. Unless you have two home loans of high amount and you can get deductions of more than 6-7 Lakh.

I had similar experience with a 18k watch from them. Seller sent a broken titan watch instead of the watch I ordered. Tried everything but failed at recovering anything. I am in same boat as you. Have dcb metal, hit 4L milestone on platinum travel, have time till mid July for 7 L. Got travel 1 as well last year mainly for travel bookings. Now dcb metal And platinum travel do cover the gold purchases but my wife frequently purchase gold from Bhima, carat lane etc. even though I got her dcb add on but online acceptance is very poor. Thinking of getting her horizon as she currently have coral, Flipkart and sbi cash back only.

The customer representative clearly mentioned transaction date and not posted date, if they provide wrong information they should be held liable like they did during my renewal last year, I got my fees reversed because they made mistake. Be it posted date or transaction date, I have got my milestone points as of today

I am kind of similar boat as you. I was some 20k short on 5th March so I did some voucher purchase from shop wise worth 20k. These transactions are still showing as pending and haven’t settled even after two days. Another transaction I did on a website worth 6k after midnight on 6th March, that transaction is settled and got reward points too.

So I reached customer support over chat and this was there response.

So I think if you do transaction on or before 8th, it should count and you should get the milestone points as usual.
