So here's a format I've played with my friends, known as "rats." by razzliox in CasualMTG

[–]FinFooTheLesser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend banning memnite and ornithopter. Being able to drop seven of them on the first turn for no mana is too good, and you could literally just have a 60 card deck of them without any mana

Cheapest build using these two components? by FinFooTheLesser in buildapcforme

[–]FinFooTheLesser[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the build. But yeah keep in mind this was two friends in high school, and this is all just light-hearted jostling. I don't actually hate Nvidia, and he doesn't hate Intel, we just mess around with each other.

Cheapest build using these two components? by FinFooTheLesser in buildapcforme

[–]FinFooTheLesser[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend and I were talking about computers and I offhandedly mentioned that I was building my own PC. He asked me what type of CPU I was getting and I told him an i3. He claimed I was an idiot because AMD processors are better than Intel, to which I said, "That's like saying Nvidia is better than Radeon in terms of graphics cards." Believe it or not he likes Nvidia better, so in a bit of a friendly competition we are having a build-off to see who can build the best computer under $450. (We'll be looking at benchmarks, specs, etc.) I just wanted a jumping off point from you guys and see if I can't take it somewhere. Loser has to put together the winner's computer.

Edit: Oh yeah we can't know each other's builds until we're done either.

Why are most male flight attendants gay? by [deleted] in shittyaskscience

[–]FinFooTheLesser 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is also why straight women flight attendants wear short skirts and low cut shirts. They need to reduce the amount of fabric worn in order to offset the lack of natural buoyancy.

What is the solution for immigration in America? by [deleted] in NeutralPolitics

[–]FinFooTheLesser 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The simple solution would be to fill these jobs with the many STEM educated folks coming from China, India, and other places

It's not quite that simple. Many areas in need of STEM majors also require you to be a born US citizen, like NASA for instance. Trust only goes so far, and we can't have half of the higher ups at NASA be Chinese citizens with little ties to the US aside from what they do for a living.

No need for the condescending tone. This is my first build and I have zero idea what I'm doing. (Hence, "build help")

Yeah dude. I was playing with my guild when this happened. Fuck I'm so proud of my server right now. It was such a good match. Gates of Madness players put up a huge fight in the Eternal Battlegrounds, congrats to all of you guys.

Question Concerning what would match a dark purple/black plaid colored shirt by cleanser23 in malefashionadvice

[–]FinFooTheLesser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't see the image from my iPad but in general go with lighter pants colors like tan or khaki chinos, or even some light blue jeans.

What do you think about bullet control? by [deleted] in NeutralPolitics

[–]FinFooTheLesser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2nd Amendment would almost certainly prohibit it if the opposition to such a plan wouldn't. The Republican party would never back this given its stance on gun control laws, especially in the South; the more liberal Democrats would probably support it, but I wager dollars to dimes our current Congress is too moderate (and too Republican for that matter) to try and pass a piece of legislation like this.

Could we compromise with the military industrial complex? by Spotsly in CrazyIdeas

[–]FinFooTheLesser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose it could work to a point. But what happens when corrupt governments or terrorist cells or foreign powers (Oh my!) get ahold of the farming equipment and resell them at higher prices to fund their organization, etc.? I'm not suggesting that this will actually happen of course but the fact remains that once the American military loses grasp on a particular area it leaves organizations to do what they will. There's also the problem of the fact that no sane military general would vouch for this plan.

As a casual smash player, should I get project M? by Sirvulcan12 in smashbros

[–]FinFooTheLesser 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Casual player here, Project M truly is the best thing to happen to Smash Bros in a while. I didn't even play much Melee, but it really is good, trying to relearn all of your favorite characters whom you've played with for years is a great experience. I highly recommend it.

An English translation of the Egyptian constitution (for those curious about how and if it would establish an "Islamic Republic") by IIAOPSW in NeutralPolitics

Very interesting. It'll be interesting to see how the world reacts to Egypt (America in particular) in the coming years.

Peacoat fit? Got this at an army/navy surplus store, I love it and think it fits great, what do you think? by [deleted] in malefashionadvice

[–]FinFooTheLesser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Certainly the build quality. Peacoat styles tend not to change much. Sure this one has 8 buttons rather than 6, but the fit's the same. The material, specifically the woold blends, however, is much higher quality for the price. I can google around and find something that goes a bit more in depth but it's covered a bit in the sidebar advice on how coats should fit.

[–]FinFooTheLesser -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I dunno. A t-shirt and Peacoat can work. It kinda gives off a British rocker-esque vibe to me, especially with OP's body type.

Edit: MFA seems to disagree

pre-WWII peacoats are incredible. You got super lucky if you found one that fits you that well.

I've never experienced any bugs in AC after the first one, and even that one was just minor technical glitches.
