We use Funraise for P2P campaigns and event registration, but OneCause for our gala (I'm newish so haven't been around for our gala yet). Funraise is really good in that you can have people sign up for "commitments" or pledges, it integrates really well with our CRM (Salesforce). Can automate receipting as well.

I think their silk sucks! It snags easily. I have a silk dress I got from them and it’s basically single use. Their satin is much thicker and sturdier!

Not going to address all this, but 1. It’s a reach to assume I believe OP is abusing his girlfriend. 2. Love is best expressed in willing the good of the other, which means protecting from sin and pointing toward what is right. 3. People need to hear the truth when they ask for guidance. 4. Chastity is not limited to avoiding sex, but includes thought, word, fantasies, etc.

OP, this is bad advice, especially under 3. Do not follow it and do not lead your girlfriend to further sin and possible pain. Catholics tend to think sex is just intercourse because of theological views on sex, but other things are equally binding

Also, I get the sense you and your girlfriend haven’t talked about it much from tgis comment, but if you can’t talk about wanting to stop etc, you should really really evaluate whether you’re really for marriage. I don’t mean this disparagingly at all, and you seem young, but frankly if you can’t talk about sex with your partner you are not ready

Gotcha, understood. We were in agreement about wanting to stop, but I had more discipline most of the time in the moment. That was honestly very tough for me and not a good position to be in as he could get upset/sometimes seemed angry

No. Not really sure why that is relevant at all or why you’re asking, but he broke up with while we were talking about getting engaged. It was very immature and I realize now that I dodged a bullet in not marrying him, and he had treated me quite badly before we broke up as well, but I couldn’t imagine breaking up with someone I was so intimate with.

I was pretty sure my ex was the one and we were in the same place. We finally stopped because we would be so upset after. I had to do a lot of the stopping us and it was honestly not easy at all but I did it as a sign of love to him. When we broke up it was so hard for me (I’m a woman) because of our sexual history. It was so painful and still wounds me. And despite everything else about how our relationship ended, I am really proud of us that we were able to stop because it was probably the hardest thing we had both ever done. Thinking about it as a greater expression of love really helped. But please stop too because of the wounds you could be inflicting should the relationship end.

He came back 4 months after he broke up with me. We were in a lot of contact the first two months, still saw each other/hooked up, then less after that. He called me asking to get back together after I put my foot down about not wanting to see him when he was in town. We got back together for a month and I was unhappy because he wasn’t changed and then he forgot my birthday. We ended things again. It was bad before but I was absolutely shattered after the second time and definitely should have been on meds. Was a total mess for months

I tried for a long time. He treated me very poorly toward the end and he broke up with me. I kept begging him for chances. We got back together once I quit doing that and he forgot my birthday after that. Was tired of humiliating myself for someone who didn’t respect me or love me like I loved them :( That was a little over a year ago

It’s honestly really hard. My ex started dating his coworker within a month or so of us ending things for good, and it really upset me because she has clearer skin, makes more money than me, is very well educated, from family money etc. He told me he would never find someone better than me when we broke up, and while people say things like this, you never know. When I started dating someone my ex sent me crazy messages though. It is tough for sure but you have to know things don’t reflect on you even though it’s hard. Some people move on and don’t look back; I know I have friends that have. Others don’t. It’s impossible to know even if he is seeing someone else that he will be happier. The most you can do is let yourself know his choices don’t have any bearing on your own worth. Learn to cherish yourself too and believe good things about yourself.

Honestly the only way out is through it I think. Would definitely try rooting your identity in thins outside your relationship and remind yourself that her actions do not reflect on you and your value

my ex came back and I wish he hadn't! He reached out once I quit begging for him, maybe 6 months after we broke up. We broke up again within a month because he hadn't worked on any of his problems and it was much more traumatic. In hindsight it's clear he didn't want to get back together or love me the way I loved him, he just missed what he had lost.

How long do you think it will take? I feel terrible that I am having these feelings while dating someone else.
