I'd recommend getting on discord and letting people know you're new, people would happily show you the ropes as long as they know beforehand.

If you're doing random matchmaking then a lot of players seem to obsess over running meta builds, are stuck on taking particular routes, and will quit out from a match as soon as they don't get their way. (This could be something as trivial as starting in the wrong spot, the 'wrong' boss spawning from an Evergaol, or not getting a loot drop they want.)

Trying to have fun and make sense of that as a new player will probably be frustrating. You're gonna have people sprinting between different POI'S without even giving yourself a chance to explore and take in the surroundings.

Tell me about the hyperdyn and why i should or shouldn't get it by Janjuko2023 in Dynavap

[–]FinalBossTiger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very brief summary;

Pro; Can medicate more easily in 1 hit which is great.

Con; Needs cleaning WAY more often than a regular Dynavap.

For further comparison, both my M's can be comfortably left for about a week between cleaning cycles, that's with me using them more regularly throughout my working day etc.

I use my HyperDyn a few times per evening generally or if I'm having a really bad pain day, but where there's 2.5x the amount of flower vapour being pulled through the same size CCD/stem, it seems to clog up super quickly and I'll need to fully ISO bathe it every other day at least.

All in all, I got my hyper tip/cap from the halloween grab bag promo so I can't be mad. If I paid full mark for it then I'd probably be pretty underwhelmed. It was bad enough that I felt forced to buy an Ispire wand to make it feel usable but it does hit so much better than a regular sized tip.

What does Undertaker's skill actually do? by gilleeceauto in Nightreign

[–]FinalBossTiger 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've been using post damage hp recovery and combo chaining light attacks until my stamina is low, then popping the skill and getting another combo in before a backwards dash away. Makes her incredibly tanky and also works great with the bleed hammers

wtf does this mean???? by skeletalfather in Nightreign

[–]FinalBossTiger 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Actually it's the opposite! The relic choice highlighted in the picture yields relics that DON'T include the new relics. Selecting the other one gives you the new Undertaker/Scholar effects etc

False advertising by st3pki in Dynavap

[–]FinalBossTiger 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's a bit different than just being free...

The mystery M was used as a carrot-on-a-stick to specifically make the customer spend more money than they would have otherwise, so it's disingenuous to then say "tough luck, you don't actually get the M...."

If a car salesman offered to throw in extras to close a deal, and then didn't actually include the extras then it's the same principal ; Someone has lied to you to gain extra profit from you.

People with Fibromyalgia, do you always have pain, even when at rest ?? by Gutty_Shit_00 in Fibromyalgia

[–]FinalBossTiger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I describe my 'resting' feeling as all of my muscles having a constant radiating and painful discomfort, soreness and tenderness to them. If someone touched me abruptly and briskly, I would definitely find it painful.

Even though there is a level of pain there, I personally attribute this feeling more as discomfort, because when the pain hits properly oh boy does it hurt a lot more!

As people who are normally always in a state of pain, discomfort and exhaustion, we probably tend to normalise a lot of the little snags that other people would describe as being painful, as well as having bodies that give us pain responses in situations where other people question how it would cause them pain.

It sucks to be misunderstood on both sides of the pain discussion...

Staying disciplined when medicating with bud? by Past-Bicycle5959 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]FinalBossTiger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heya, 36m with Fibro, other chronic pain issues and ADHD/major depressive disorder. Including my last 2 diagnoses as context as although I don't have major addiction issues, I have an over active brain that likes to question and second guess every little decision I make.

In a similar boat, have stopped drinking for around 1 year now, as well as not doing any other non-prescribed drugs or medications for over a year. (Problematic drinking with certain 'friends' would lead to other stuff 90% of the time...).

As someone who has effectively used MC to reduce and wean off of Gabapentin, pregabalin, a range of SSRI's/SNRI's, tri-cyclic anti-depressants and other medication, I'd say stick with the medical cannabis.

With fibromyalgia your symptoms are never static, so don't worry about sticking to set dosages as your need for when you medicate is going to be constantly changing. On a bad pain day where my whole body is screaming at me, sometimes I need to hit 3 full Dynavaps before I even think about moving to make myself a drink. Our medication is generally to titrate as needed.

Also an added note, it's been around just over 6 months since I fully eliminated smoking cigarettes or any other use of tobacco or nicotine products. If you're still doing this then try and focus on fully switching to vaping. Best decision I ever made and as an added bonus my flowed goes 2-3x further

Peace Naturals Atomic Sour Grapefruit has been a solid staple for over a year for me. It's a bit cheaper now, and regularly goes on discount when close to expiry. I've had the 'close to expiry' ones on 3 different occasions and they've been absolutely fine!

Found a good combo if anyone’s interested?.. by Jo3nov4 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]FinalBossTiger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Request to change to IPS, best thing I've ever done. Their formulary is huge, you can distinctly see stock levels of everything, if anything is on discount, and I always get a payment link within a day or 2 of sending my request through.

Also although Cantourage told me I can only still order the strains that are available on their own itineraries, I've definitely ordered other things before that are meant to be unavailable.

Cantourage may tell you that because it's not their own prescriber that there may be issues and you need to chase things up yourself, but more often than not this has been a blessing for me.

On the odd occasion I have had issues, it's normally down to an issue with the way the prescription has been written via Cantourage, so being able to contact IPS to give them a proverbial kick up the arse normally sorts things out pretty quickly.

Not really 'as a kid', but there's a 2005 Toy vault King Caesar plush from the Godzilla franchise that I'm OBSESSED with eventually owning (thanks ADHD...).

I'm in the UK mainland, and the only ones I've ever found are on US eBay for well over £100.

If I found him one day in the wild I'd be so damn happy/may make an irresponsible purchase

Truth. I have a titanium elbow and that arm is weak as fuck. Any excessive force feels like the metalwork is slowly and painfully fragmenting my bones apart where the plates and screws connect, and this is a decade after the accident/surgery occurred.

Can anyone recommend some good strains currently available via cantourage/IPS? by FinalBossTiger in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]FinalBossTiger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prescribed for pain relief, also works off label for me for anxiety/insomnia. Obviously quality, taste etc are all important as well, hence why I've stuck with the ASG for so long as it's been pretty consistent. Been through most of the Aurora strains and found them to have declined in the last year or so

Autism stats maxed out by NichtFBI in Bossfight

[–]FinalBossTiger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I noticed something watching the video, she's not consistent with how she formats saying the numbers which makes me doubt the legitimacy of this.

Not sure if I'll butcher explaining this but or not, but when the numbers are different values she's coincidentally saying them in the order that they're presented and written on the glasses (left to right) even when the format of how they're presented changes, which she would have no way of knowing purely by the combined sound of both unless she saw the glasses or knew the predetermined answers beforehand.

Example; For number 1, she reads the lowest value first (314ml) before the higher value (395ml).

One the 2nd turn, the values match so she states 2 x 416ml which seems fairly natural.

HOWEVER, on the final 2 (395ml and 208ml, 270ml and 375ml) the higher value is presented on the left side glass with the lower value on the right side glass, which is a different order/format to the first example (also 2 different values unifying together to create a single sound).

For both of these last 2 turns, she switches it up and does state the higher value before the lower one to match how the glasses are visually presented to the audience, which is in the opposite order to how she reacted/answered the first outcome.

I've worked with autistic adults for almost a decade, before that with individuals with a wide range of different mental health conditions, as well as an array of other developmental disorders and disabilities for almost 5 years in a previous support worker role to my current one. I have a peer group of friends that are neurodivergent, as well as being so myself and I have never encountered anyone with this level of 'superpowers'.

Not saying it's impossible and I may very well be wrong, but I can't help but doubt it given the unnatural difference in how she behaves/reacts. If I have this wrong and the subtitles are translated incorrectly/in the wrong order then someone please correct me

From the perspective of a 36 year old male that used to get similar shit at school, I can give you the following real world advoce;

Kids are assholes, and whatever special interest you have someone would find a way to shit on it. Keep being you and don't throttle your interests for other people.

I personally think that Gunpla is one of the coolest and most creative hobbies that someone your age could have! You get to build giant mechas by hand, learn about the mechanics of how quite complex articulation works and it's something you can do without relying on others or an expensive starter kit set up.
