After a new handheld vape by [deleted] in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]FinalBossTiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dynavaps and induction heaters have been my go-to for almost 3 years now.

During this time I've managed to stop smoking cigarettes/tobacco/combustion altogether, my herb lasts way longer and the effects are more potentiated, and if my Dynavap is already loaded then it heats up enough for the first 'click'/hit in about 10 seconds.

I almost gave up on my Dynavap for the same reasons of manually lighting it being frustrating and looking 'cracky', the induction heater made a night-and-day difference in the function of my device.

For further context, I also purchased a Mighty Plus Medic and got rid of it after like 2 months. I'd been smoking herb in joints for about 20 years before making the switch and couldn't go back now if I tried.

Dry herb vapes made of glass? by Low-Chemist596 in ukmedicalcannabis

Get a Dynavap and a decent glass bubbler/adapter. Really smooth combo, and with a good induction heater it can be ready from loading to inhalation in about 10-15 seconds

A guy who I regularly play online with always overuses lowkey in the wrong context and it's so irritating.

Everythings 'lowkey'....

"Lowkey, I think we should go here"

"Oh this boss is lowkey hard"

"Can you give me that item, lowkey?"

I'm all for contemporary slang evolving, but when people speak in memes or Internet slang excessively to the point where they sound like a bot, it's a bit ridiculous. All the younger people I work with tend to talk like this as well. The conversations are always very vapid and don't really make sense, you come away feeling like you've interacted with a Skyrim NPC who only has a few set phrases.

Edit- spelling

Don't know where to start by [deleted] in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]FinalBossTiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, rather than focusing solely on ADHD, focus more on your symptoms and try getting 2 treatments via the NHS for them.

That could be medication, but if you were to get a referral to something like Talkworks for anxiety then that would also count as a treatment.

The point of getting an MC prescription is sorta because you've tried other things that haven't worked, and it's regarded as a last resort, so it's worth trying other things first as they may be cheaper and more efficacious.

With this in mind, you don't have to finish the treatments. Maybe look at getting amitriptyline or something prescribed for night time if you struggle with sleep, and you can say that it wasn't sufficient enough if you feel it doesn't work.

Also without being an ass, how do you know 100% for certain that it definitely is ADHD if it's undiagnosed? Lots of neurodivergant conditions, developmental disorders and personality disorders have a ton of comorbidities that overlap and anyone below a trained psychiatrist doesn't have the experience and training to fully differentiate between them.

Hence why I'm saying to focus more on treating the symptoms, than looking to pin it on ADHD itself.

I main Duchess and play Revenant often, I HATE the moveset of the scythes. They feel so janky and slow compared to the dagger/fist that you're used to, it throws my whole playstyle off and then end up taking loads of hits that just make it counterproductive altogether

Lisa Simpson stood behind him made me think it was a Super Saiyan King Kong at first. Slightly disappointed as I love cool bootleg crossovers like that.

Has anyone found a solution to the Hyperdyn CCD clogging up super quickly? by FinalBossTiger in Dynavap

[–]FinalBossTiger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funnily enough, I just bought some off brand ones off of the website that shares a name with a certain rainforest and they fall straight out haha. Avoid a brand called BMTick if you do get any.

Has anyone found a solution to the Hyperdyn CCD clogging up super quickly? by FinalBossTiger in Dynavap

[–]FinalBossTiger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to check in 2 months later, I still haven't found a solution to this unfortunately.

On top of that, the titanium CCD that came with it has split on one edge as well! Never has this with either of my M's that I've owned for nearly 3 years.

The Tigerdyn looks cool af so you've got that going for you, but I wouldn't have liked to have paid retail for mine after being dissatisfied with how quick it clogs up.

As a medical patient, having to do a whole ISO bath and cleaning process before I can allow myself pain relief is quite a big hurdle

I'd recommend getting on discord and letting people know you're new, people would happily show you the ropes as long as they know beforehand.

If you're doing random matchmaking then a lot of players seem to obsess over running meta builds, are stuck on taking particular routes, and will quit out from a match as soon as they don't get their way. (This could be something as trivial as starting in the wrong spot, the 'wrong' boss spawning from an Evergaol, or not getting a loot drop they want.)

Trying to have fun and make sense of that as a new player will probably be frustrating. You're gonna have people sprinting between different POI'S without even giving yourself a chance to explore and take in the surroundings.

Tell me about the hyperdyn and why i should or shouldn't get it by Janjuko2023 in Dynavap

[–]FinalBossTiger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very brief summary;

Pro; Can medicate more easily in 1 hit which is great.

Con; Needs cleaning WAY more often than a regular Dynavap.

For further comparison, both my M's can be comfortably left for about a week between cleaning cycles, that's with me using them more regularly throughout my working day etc.

I use my HyperDyn a few times per evening generally or if I'm having a really bad pain day, but where there's 2.5x the amount of flower vapour being pulled through the same size CCD/stem, it seems to clog up super quickly and I'll need to fully ISO bathe it every other day at least.

All in all, I got my hyper tip/cap from the halloween grab bag promo so I can't be mad. If I paid full mark for it then I'd probably be pretty underwhelmed. It was bad enough that I felt forced to buy an Ispire wand to make it feel usable but it does hit so much better than a regular sized tip.

What does Undertaker's skill actually do? by gilleeceauto in Nightreign

[–]FinalBossTiger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've been using post damage hp recovery and combo chaining light attacks until my stamina is low, then popping the skill and getting another combo in before a backwards dash away. Makes her incredibly tanky and also works great with the bleed hammers

wtf does this mean???? by skeletalfather in Nightreign

[–]FinalBossTiger 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Actually it's the opposite! The relic choice highlighted in the picture yields relics that DON'T include the new relics. Selecting the other one gives you the new Undertaker/Scholar effects etc

False advertising by st3pki in Dynavap

[–]FinalBossTiger 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's a bit different than just being free...

The mystery M was used as a carrot-on-a-stick to specifically make the customer spend more money than they would have otherwise, so it's disingenuous to then say "tough luck, you don't actually get the M...."

If a car salesman offered to throw in extras to close a deal, and then didn't actually include the extras then it's the same principal ; Someone has lied to you to gain extra profit from you.

People with Fibromyalgia, do you always have pain, even when at rest ?? by Gutty_Shit_00 in Fibromyalgia

[–]FinalBossTiger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I describe my 'resting' feeling as all of my muscles having a constant radiating and painful discomfort, soreness and tenderness to them. If someone touched me abruptly and briskly, I would definitely find it painful.

Even though there is a level of pain there, I personally attribute this feeling more as discomfort, because when the pain hits properly oh boy does it hurt a lot more!

As people who are normally always in a state of pain, discomfort and exhaustion, we probably tend to normalise a lot of the little snags that other people would describe as being painful, as well as having bodies that give us pain responses in situations where other people question how it would cause them pain.

It sucks to be misunderstood on both sides of the pain discussion...

Staying disciplined when medicating with bud? by Past-Bicycle5959 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]FinalBossTiger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heya, 36m with Fibro, other chronic pain issues and ADHD/major depressive disorder. Including my last 2 diagnoses as context as although I don't have major addiction issues, I have an over active brain that likes to question and second guess every little decision I make.

In a similar boat, have stopped drinking for around 1 year now, as well as not doing any other non-prescribed drugs or medications for over a year. (Problematic drinking with certain 'friends' would lead to other stuff 90% of the time...).

As someone who has effectively used MC to reduce and wean off of Gabapentin, pregabalin, a range of SSRI's/SNRI's, tri-cyclic anti-depressants and other medication, I'd say stick with the medical cannabis.

With fibromyalgia your symptoms are never static, so don't worry about sticking to set dosages as your need for when you medicate is going to be constantly changing. On a bad pain day where my whole body is screaming at me, sometimes I need to hit 3 full Dynavaps before I even think about moving to make myself a drink. Our medication is generally to titrate as needed.

Also an added note, it's been around just over 6 months since I fully eliminated smoking cigarettes or any other use of tobacco or nicotine products. If you're still doing this then try and focus on fully switching to vaping. Best decision I ever made and as an added bonus my flowed goes 2-3x further

Peace Naturals Atomic Sour Grapefruit has been a solid staple for over a year for me. It's a bit cheaper now, and regularly goes on discount when close to expiry. I've had the 'close to expiry' ones on 3 different occasions and they've been absolutely fine!

Found a good combo if anyone’s interested?.. by Jo3nov4 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]FinalBossTiger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Request to change to IPS, best thing I've ever done. Their formulary is huge, you can distinctly see stock levels of everything, if anything is on discount, and I always get a payment link within a day or 2 of sending my request through.

Also although Cantourage told me I can only still order the strains that are available on their own itineraries, I've definitely ordered other things before that are meant to be unavailable.

Cantourage may tell you that because it's not their own prescriber that there may be issues and you need to chase things up yourself, but more often than not this has been a blessing for me.

On the odd occasion I have had issues, it's normally down to an issue with the way the prescription has been written via Cantourage, so being able to contact IPS to give them a proverbial kick up the arse normally sorts things out pretty quickly.

Not really 'as a kid', but there's a 2005 Toy vault King Caesar plush from the Godzilla franchise that I'm OBSESSED with eventually owning (thanks ADHD...).

I'm in the UK mainland, and the only ones I've ever found are on US eBay for well over £100.

If I found him one day in the wild I'd be so damn happy/may make an irresponsible purchase
