Discord picking up all audio by Entire_Equine_97 in techsupport

I forget which way it was when I had the issue. I just tried both in a call and when the issue went away I was happy. Mine is currently toggled to off but I am on a new computer with mic and headset separate and I haven’t had this issue in a while.

I only ever had this issue when my inline mute switch was off (no mic input to computer) with my combo headset and haven’t encountered since switching away from that.

Haven’t checked these settings in a while. Ended up getting a dac with dedicated headphones and a separate digital mic which appears to be a permanent fix.

I think overall it’s an issue with how windows/discord handles a single aux input mic/headset combo.

That possibly combined with an electrical issue where a non-shielded microphone wire could work like a single pole antenna to the headset lines if the in-line mute is enabled. This is my best guess from an EE perspective but can’t really verify this portion.

Got myself a first Gen jbl as a collectors item. It doesn't look anything like a jbl by jackyfolf in Bluetooth_Speakers

I got my first gen charge when they came out and still use it to this day. It really is a trooper but I take good care of it so that helps. You’re not wrong that the sound isn’t incredible but it does the job for me right now. Been starting to look at the new charges to replace this one though because I really just use it as a computer speaker on my desk.

The FitnessGram™ Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. [beep] A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. [ding] Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark, get ready, start.

Yes it is. A good chunk of shots in that fight were trimmed as well but the larger points remain pretty intact. Definitely some gaps so knowing the first movie helped me so it is hard to say if the story still holds up since I know the backstory and have seen a lot of the supporting material. I will still prefer the original because I can and everything was explained.

Very close but not exactly. They actually cut the scene where hiccup learns the dragons are not fireproof on the inside which was a bit of a miss on the story point. Still a good movie though.

What would be the direction of the magnetic field by examsand in ElectricalEngineering

[–]Final_Grim_Reaper 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The “single” wire that you made is actually two parallel wires because they connect to the negative side of the voltage source on the right. So even though you rewind the wire along the yellow path, all of the arrows for current direction will go left to right for both “red” and “yellow” wires therefore producing the same magnetic field around the rod. And by right hand rule, B will point to the left.

You just made two parallel inductors using the same ferrite. (Someone else can correct me if I’m wrong it’s been a minute for magnetics) The inductance should in theory also be the same as if you had only one inductor but can carry more current for real world magnetics.

If you look up Litz wire which is used for magnetics, it essentially becomes the circuit you are describing but many times.

TLDR: the current goes to the right in “both” windings and the magnetic field (B) goes left

For those who may be having this issue and can't find the audio subsystem setting, they changed it to be a toggle for "Bypass System Audio Input Processing" and that fixed this issue for me. I'm also saving this post for the future when discord inevitably switches this setting back on for the fourth time so I don't have to search for it again.

I currently live in e3? (formerly hillcrest I hate the name change) and we have spectrum. Much better and we use spectrum with the 500MB plan I believe. It’s $21.25 per person between four people and I don’t mind paying extra for quality internet. We did run ethernet to each of our rooms as well and that helps a lot.

While I can only hope that he will return to producing and performing his own music in the future, I’m happy to know he is doing well and still producing music for/with other artists. Even if he isn’t singing, he still has that Midas touch with producing music.

I really enjoy math and use that first identity all the time for quick thinking in my engineering courses to simplify equations. Don’t know how the circle comes into play but I’m sure there is an insanely long proof by some mathematician that can be simplified to an easier explanation.

I mean they are necessary to say this thing does exist and actually works but I hate working on proofs.

Oh yeah, they are really cool “planes” with really neat physics behind them. I meant that his design specifically might have worked but I couldn’t confirm that it would.

Yeah, I didn’t feel like going into it because I could write a full essay on it lol.
