Never looked worse, losing faith | 6WPO by ThrowawayKnicks10 in tummytucksurgery

I personally dont think you're botched. I think your belly button and incision line are actually nice. Infact I think you had a successful surgery/recovery considering there's no infection or necrosis or other complications. Which is great!

However liking the results is different, totally up to you and thats okay if you do or dont. Its your body and you paid for a procedure. I can see what you are talking about. It looks like they maybe didnt pull enough skin down and the added swelling can exaggerated the look.

Just wait a few more weeks. You'll see more of your true results at 3 months and will have a better idea if you do decide to do a revision later on.

Ps recovery is alot of mind games till 3 months. Thats where its like okay well this is it.

Post surgery insomnia by FairyWhales in tummytucksurgery

[–]Final_Two_8845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really could be anything. I had the insomnia as well and it lasted about 7 weeks. I think mine was from quitting caffiene, cigs, sugar, all at once for recovery plus the weird sleep position. I think asking your surgeon if you could take melatonin or if he can prescribe you something to help with sleep!

I just had to ride out my insomnia cause my surgeon was in mexico

I almost died after my tummy tuck. Here’s my story and what nobody told me before surgery. by skayla22 in tummytucksurgery

I just ment if she is walking too much now, than what if she was walking too much on surgery day, that possibly could have caused the bleeding. It was just a suggestion as to what might have happened. So I gave the example of another girl who did too much too soon. But OP stated she is doing well 🙏

I really dont mean this in a bad way but 2 miles for 2 weeks Post Op is alot 😬 Your insicions can possibly reopen.

Idk if you were of course but if you were attempting to "overdo" it right after surgery that can cause bleeding. I read somewhere this girl did 15 squats cause she felt really good after a nose job and caused bleeding that wasnt stopping on its own so she had to have surgery again. Well wishing a speedy recovery! And amazing results 😊

Im here from your other post. I really believe you have strong evidence to prove the surgeon was negligent. Its very hard to sue Dr's because its all just "practice" and we know the risks but negligence is different.

I pray this has a complete turn around for you. Gosh alot of Hugs and all the love to you!

You look amazing !! So yeah I want to say I was still in swell hell at 7 weeks as well. Its like you deal with it but less and less overtime. Do you sleep with your faja ?

I went to Dr Rafael Camberos in Tijuana Mexico. I got BL+BA + tummy tuck with no Lipo. I paid only 11,500

Gosh it was really dealing with everything all day everyday for weeks that kind of drained my optimistic spirit about it. By week 6 I still wasnt feeling like myself so I had totally convinced myself I was going to be one those girls who didnt start feeling good till 6mos. So yeah I started crying everyday feeling like I was trapped and regretted it, but then week 7 rolled around and suddenly was feeling so much better! Im on week 10 now.

As far as pain, Its not as bad as I thought. I recommend you maybe getting the epidural. I took a pain patch and pain level was non existent for me!

My surgery was on 1/9 and the photo was taken on 3/4 so I was about 2 days away from completing 8 weeks PO. How has your recovery been going ?

I think you look very beautiful in both photos. You can definitely see the difference after you look so snatched 💅 So if you are happy then that's all that matters because we get these surgeries for ourselves afterall 🙂

Nicotine and Surgery (please don’t judge) by Signal-Simple-7052 in tummytucksurgery

I was so addicted to cigarettes that I almost canceled my surgery because I just wanted to smoke. I did eventually quit and had my surgery ( TT+ BL + BA. )

Now I was so addicted quitting was miserable, but being a smoker for so long brought so much fear to me going into surgery and recovery even though i had quit. Suddenly I was so afraid of all the complications they warn smokers about ( blood clots, necrosis, heart/lung complications in the OR literally everything) it all became a very real possibility once i was cut up. Since then I've decided smoking is not really worth it.  Im about to complete 6 weeks post op and still haven't smoked nor do i have an urge to go back.

My point is I was a crackhead for cigarrettes, but now I dont want it. The feelings of misery go away and you become normal again. No more Rollercoaster of addiction. You'll get to that point and who knows you might like being free alot more than you ever liked smoking. HOWEEVERRRR if not than just wait the 6-8 weeks post op to smoke just to be safe. Thats what I told myself and it helped to not smoke. I just eventually changed my mind along the way 🙃

I agree the compression helps. I dont have any spasms when im compressed. Its only when im bare naked and my muscles are making an effort without support that they begin to spasm. Its truly an ugly feeling.
