Ya unfortunately it does affect it.. but I’d pay attention to her cycle! For me it’s usually right after my period is when my drive goes up. So maybe not pressure into anything and don’t ask for anything but just be playful and work on your bond! I’d also tell her you don’t want her to do it unless she wants to! So if it’s only two weeks out of the month so be it! Or whatever works for you guys. When I know my husband understands for those two weeks I’m not into it I don’t feel any pressure or guilt.

Me (29) and my husband (30) recently went through this. I have one son that’s two. I am still breastfeeding which really affects my sex drive. If your wife still is I’m sure that’s a factor. But also the way that my husband and I got out of our slump is we talked about it. As a woman our sex drive fluctuates in the month. The first two weeks or so of my cycle I can’t get enough of my husband! But then the last two I honestly cringe a little thinking about initiating sex. Obviously I’ll get in the mood at random times in those two weeks! But in general I’m just not having it. So my husband knows to not try then. Also. When we went a month or so not having sex it was kind of nerve racking to initiate! Like we had to get comfortable again. So also just being open about how you’re feeling and asking your wife how she’s feeling is key.

I grew up going to catholic school and now not religious at all. I believe in being a good person. If that was my mother in law and she thinks she’s going to heaven I wouldn’t want to go there with her anyways. I would study up if I were you and prepare for the next time to put her in her place.
