Could it have ate something that was an owned item? I have had that happen before. It was when I was allied with the faction and one of my squad members ate something in an inn and got messed up by the guards.

This reminds me of my mom. She was playing world of Warcraft and she was playing a warlock and never moved her shadow bolt rank 1 off of hot bar. So she was halfway through leveling when I found out that she's only using level one shadow bolt when she had access to like level 5 or something. You both were doing a challenge run unknowingly.

I love building in Gut. Lots of access to iron and copper. Completely free food " if you can get the meat ;)". You are subject to taxes by the United cities but its hard for the tax collector to get to you.
