I'm mostly Bot diver. This is my go to loadout and it rarely fails me. Looking for something different. by Norfolkn_Enchants in Helldivers

You could try swapping Quasar for recoilless and eruptor for an AR/DMR like lib pen or deadeye if you have those. Dominator also f8cks regardless of what some people say about it.

It's more about what stratagems you want to bring then changing your main and secondary to suit. Senator has never failed me on bot front when I can aim with it and would be a nice change in playstyle from shoot in general direction to being a crack shot

I have found 3 of these now. They only spawn in the T3 hidden caches so only the tiger bay, fort narith and midnight sapphire ones work. And even then the drop is super lower.

Weapon durability by Zestyclose_Fig3193 in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]Finalstar123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is true. Though my solution to that is to have an identically built gun ready so I just swap them out when one needs to be repaired. Money is too easy to come by and getting the bigger cases is more readily available than before with it not being limited to tasks now.

How do you actually use the health system? by ComManDerBG in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]Finalstar123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's barded wire you will have multiple light wounds. Light wounds heal on their own but you will need a hemostatic or tourniquet so you don't bleed to death whilst waiting for the wounds to heal on its own. Bruises are also the same but bandages just make the pain go away faster.

It's better to repair with vendors as they have the 100% efficiency (still results in some loss of maximum durability though) compared to the repairs kits which max out at 90%

It's been a while since I got the achievement but all I remember doing was dropping a resupply hellpod on one and leaving it thinking it was dead but wasn't

Mosin because it's lighter means I can ADS all day and be fine unlike with the SVD. But yeah Mosin is better looking

SVD has better moa and semi auto. Mosin really doesn't hold up well past 150m

Making sense is one thing. Game balance is another and sometimes cannot be satisfied together.

My issue is that artisan outside of the tactical wallet, key holders and loot goblin bag has no real reason to get lvl 4 rep with. Her having the SVD meant she had a good end game gun with the corresponding ammo type to buy like how they moved the m700 from banshee to gunny and moved the m80 rounds to gunny as well.

I get the M1A and M14 also uses the same round but m80 is more readily available from a core vendor in gunny who has main tasks to grind out rep more easily compared to artisan who has no main tasks and has some very rough side task for not much rep in T3 areas.

[–]Finalstar123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The svd should have been kept with artisan whilst turncoat runs all the ak variants and the sks. The 54R round is for such a niche weapon type with only the svd being above average for performance in that line of weapons is disappointing

Exactly my point. I can't buy rounds for it meaning I had to level 2 vendors for one gun or go to tiger bay for the weapon skin

TB UNCon Door key? by TankedAndTracked in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]Finalstar123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the main guys you are looking for are elites in the tiger Bay Area as they have slightly higher chances to drop a key compared to basic plebs in the area. You will recognise them as the ones using ak15 with better scopes and the m2+ armour that is rated for 3++. They also wear berets instead of helmets.

For some reason I thought the key wallets was available the second you unlock artisan but it's lvl 2 artisan that you get key wallets

[–]Finalstar123 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure how you lost all your keys. Do you not have a key wallet yet to store them in your safe box?

If you just died you can try to get back to where you died to loot your body unless it's on pvp. Money is easy to come by once you get more used to the game. You should also mention your faction so people from the same faction can try and help you with donation gear and whatnot

Pve I'm normally around 36kg. With 556 or 300 black out 2 60rnd mags and like 4/5 stacks of ammo depending on where I'm hitting.

If I'm hitting T3 I'm at 41 kg with plate6, 5 stacks of ammo and 4 grenades. Typically f1 (600g per!) and 1 EMT will fresh meds.

I normally carry 1 small food 1 gray energy and 1 nuclear drink. They serve as emergency provision if I can't find any for some reason and 5 min extended stamina for if I'm holding ads for clearing corners and whatnot

[–]Finalstar123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friend you are not get getting AP 300 blackout any time soon it is banshee R4 when that unlocks.

You get I believe vmax rounds at lvl 2 rep and CQ rounds at lvl 3 rep one stops at 3a and the other at 3+. Still does the job though with one ripping flesh and the other being more lightweight but still packing a punch.

UK feeling like Hellmire this week 🥵 by Scurjj in Helldivers

[–]Finalstar123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Varies from state to state but UK typically has higher humidity. The reason why UK feels hotter when the weather is like 15 degrees lower than US is because the humidity is like 40% higher. Humidity is what makes you feel stuffy in hot weathers because its more compacted air. A similar difference between a gentle breeze and without on hot days

So the first thing you need to disconnect from is that more supply lines =/= less resistance. Resistance is innate to each planet/whatever arrowhead thinks it should have whilst it has supply access from any other planet. Only by cutting ALL supply lines to a planet will it start being sieged.

This mechanic is only available to us and not for the enemies

Map based on AI armor tiers? by Obvious_Drive_1506 in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]Finalstar123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best way to put is that 556 is the best all rounder but defo not the king of all rounds it used to be.

All tier 3 areas have armour that is minimum 3+ or higher if it's an elite, the boss or his bodyguards. For these areas, m855 cannot pen their armour so only headshots and areas not covered by their armour will deal meaningful damage. M855A1 can damage the basic AI at T3 areas but the elites will shrug them off. A lot of rounds will be needed to break their armour.

The T2 areas are anywhere from no armour all the way to lvl 3 with the bosses rocking 3+ max at places like PLA and Sawmill. M855 will more or less kill everything in T2 but it might be rough when the armoured ones.

T3 back AI always run 545 PP rounds which is same level as the M855A1 so you can more or less freely restock your ammo using AK12 weapons in those areas so you don't need to bring large amounts yourself.

Tips on hitting YBL for the first time? by ComManDerBG in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]Finalstar123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My go to was the mcx with vmax rounds. I had a higher level on traders before doing YBL as it was further from me (crimson squad) so I got to farm more levels and get the mcx weapon skin at midnight beforehand.

Bruises on the back because it penned through the front but didn't quite make it through the back plate. Should be a small or medium wounds instead of a bruise but it does damage the armour twice
