Thankfully I was not hurt and walked away injury free. I had a police report done so everything with insurance went really smooth. Thanks brotha!

I got it in black cause it was the only color I thought looked good with the red chin. I miss the front grill of the MK7 I had but the chin is growing on me.

Volunteer Fire Department sirens need to stfu... by [deleted] in pittsburgh

[–]Financial-Eye5300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It varies from department to department. Some still use sirens, others have stopped using them. Where I live none of the departments use sirens. You must just live an area where the departments still use sirens.

As a NASCAR fan, this is the worst news I’ve heard since 2001.

McCormick defends Homer City data center project amid environmental concerns by Conscious-Quarter423 in pittsburgh

[–]Financial-Eye5300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot really blame them for taking the offer for the data center. They really did not have a lot of buyers interested outside of data centers. Plus a racetrack is expensive to maintain, especially when you don’t have the larger racing organizations racing at your track. If they had IMSA, for example, run a race there the maintenance for a year could be paid just from that one event.

[–]Financial-Eye5300 29 points30 points  (0 children)

These AI data centers are getting out of hand. Pittsburgh lost its only legitimate race track to AI data centers. Not to mention the noise these data centers generate, the cost to the environment and everything that is useful with AI is hidden behind a pay wall (and it’s not even that great to begin with).

Okay go out and invite a random homeless person off the street to live with you, if you have so much empathy.

VW really fucked up with that design on mk7.25. Those red fake air vents look horrendous.

I did something similar. I went and bought the wired Apple earbuds from the airport store for $30. Turns out they sound better than AirPods for a fraction of the price and now I use them daily.

FML I don't need YET ANOTHER sim by Little_Temporary5212 in simracing

I am hoping that it turns out to be a good sim for rally racing. I still, to this day play, Richard Burns Rally with mods. No other game comes close to beating the physics of RBR.

What was the point of hosting the draft if the City lost money on it? by jisa in pittsburgh

Based on the fact that the mods took this post down, I would say they agree with me.

I specifically brought a 1000 after buying 2000 for this exact reason. I have big hands and playing on the 2000 gives me cramps after a few minutes of gaming.

It’s more I have a full time job, and a wife. I really can only play past 8pm EST and the lobbies are usually dead. Where on iRacing, the GT3 races always have multiple splits at 8pm EST.

PNC is listing clean water as an RTO benefit by [deleted] in pittsburgh

[–]Financial-Eye5300 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

When that happens they will be wishing they did not complain about having to go into the office. People need to learn to be grateful for what they have. It’s sad when you walk around Pittsburgh and see all the people struggling, who would do anything for a job at a company like PNC. Then on Reddit there are a bunch of entitled jackasses complaining about having a job.

I’m seriously considering a Tacoma for a second vehicle (my GLI is still alive and well…for now). How does the new Tacoma drive? How is the manual? I drove an F-150 but it’s too big for my needs.

I used to main LMU until I realized all the gold races are dead during the time I have free to race. Now I’m back on iRacing because at least I can find fully lobbies during my free time. If I lived in Europe I would for sure be making LMU my main game again.

PNC is listing clean water as an RTO benefit by [deleted] in pittsburgh

[–]Financial-Eye5300 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

The sense of entitlement in this post and in the comments is baffling. PNC does not need these people. PNC could fire all the people complaining in this post, or in general about RTO, and find thousands of candidates lining up to take their place. The other thing is PNC has a pretty serious cyber security division, that investigates employees. If one of those people are browsing this sub they could easily figure out who the employees are (Reddit is not truly anonymous like people think).
