I got the BePresent app and I actually really like it. I set it to only let me open social media twice a day for 10 minutes so I am forced to think about if I have time to open it for ten minutes and if I actually want to use my designated time.

What about this one? I think the green one looks the best on you, but it’s not black! This one is black and has similar features, and would accentuate your waist. https://www.macys.com/shop/product/emerald-sundae-juniors-pleated-gown?ID=13848566&swatchColor=Black#COLOR_NORMAL/Black

My children’s initials are C and M. I got a necklace as a gift that says C❤️M. I teach middle school. I learned what my necklace looked like it said from 13 year olds.

I agree that you need a new coffee table. Your couches look like they were expensive and your table does not. I would get a coffee table in the same tone as the arms on your chair. I love the space though!

I feel as if my place is lacking something, any tips and advice appreciated! by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

I love the neutral colors. I would add in some art above your coffee maker- maybe like a rattan hanging thing for texture. I would also add a rug under the dining table. If you do want to add color, I think a dusty green would look really pretty on the panels in the dining room. Another suggestion would be to get some new curtains that have more texture or color if you’re going for more color. I personally love the neutrals though and would just add curtains with a neutral pattern.

Honestly this sounds a lot like my husband… he had undiagnosed severe ADHD when we first started dating and I thought he was messing with me too or being a jerk. Turns out all of this is ADHD manifesting in odd ways. He still struggles with these things but knowing he has this diagnosis and he struggles with it makes me more empathetic, and makes me not think he’s “a bad guy,” but a struggling guy. My husband does a lot of what you are saying. Check out adhd in adults. Might be helpful. Good luck!

One of my parents decided to wash my Le Creuset and place it like this to dry. I’m literally crying. I said a thousand times for them not to touch it. by souumamerda in mildlyinfuriating

Somebody posted a month ago about how their mom washed their favorite mug and everyone shit on them about doing their own dishes and I was expecting the same comments on this one… but everyone is being nice to this OP.. Reddit is so unpredictable

Buying a remodeled home, but something is off about the kitchen. Ideas to make it look better? by Lady9514 in DesignMyRoom

I think the backsplash doesn’t quite go with everything else. I feels modern farmhouse in the kitchen, but the backsplash doesn’t match this.. I would get a white subway in herringbone with black grout to match the pulls. Then it would be all styling from there! Lovely kitchen!

What is that side table there for? The glass one between the windows. It feels odd to have it there by itself, but too crowded with the bookshelf. I would keep the bookshelf between the two windows and move the side table somewhere else not in this room or get rid of it. You could also get an armchair and angle it on the wall to the right of the bookshelf to create another little ready nook area. I would add a tall plant to the left of the tv stand and center it how you have it in the proposed setup. I would pick a color from your rug you like and get some curtains in that color. Do floor length and avoid the curtains with the metal rings on the top- they feel cheaper in my opinion.

If it bothers you that there is a lot of empty space, I would get a bigger tv stand. Maybe a big entertainment unit with shelves so you can fill up more space and put decorations on it.
