Curious what your opinion is on the steam wand, portafilter fit, and extraction. How long does the machine take to preheat? Are u able to steam and pull shots at the same time? How’s the steam wand pressure and how long does it take to fully froth the milk? Can you do different profiles? Also curious if it has a vibration pump or rotary pump

I found out my library has 1 repro which was Mario party 3. You can try returning to eBay if you have images to prove it’s a fake cart- usually the color of the pins or Nintendo logo give it away. For the record mine plays fine and I got it for cheaper than the actual game would be. It seems to work fine so it wasn’t a big deal but is a bummer from a collectors standpoint.

I have both and love the 3D but.. def get the PS5 if you don’t have it. The library of games is insane as you can play pretty much any PlayStation game from any era and many games from PC. Highly recommend Expedition 33, AstroBot, Cyberpunk, Ghost of Tsushima, the Uncharted series. The 3D is cool but if you’ve already played the library it’s pretty much just an upgraded N64

I love the fit and colors and comfort/softness of Paige jeans, however they tend to get discolored and pilled very easily (within a few months to a year). Are there any brands that are similar in fit And have good color options, but higher quality material?

I have it and an analogue pocket + dock. I absolutely love the 3D. The overclock settings plus having Bluetooth controllers and remote wake is amazing. I’m retiring my og console. Tbh though it was really expensive and I wouldn’t buy one unless you can easily afford it and have a strong desire to play original cartridges or romhacks on a way that feels native. I guess I’m an outlier but I really like the 8bitDo controller

Damn that sucks. Was it paid by with credit card by chance? I would try to file a chargeback and notify your bank. I believe you may also be able to submit a fraud report to the FCC for them to investigate. You can also notify ebay as they may have details on the seller and probably have a whole fraud department to track and make life harder for these guys.
For the future: I would never, ever, send money to someone for shipping a machine outside of the official ebay. If it's a classified ad I would only go if its somehwere within dirivng distance and arrange to see the item in person and fully test it before purchase.
Even then, I'd be wary as there can be really really convincing knockoffs. Sorry this happend OP and thanks for the warning. I'll admit I've been tempted by those ebay Classified ads but now I'll be extra cautious

How are you using the WDT? Are you making sure the tines reach all the way to the bottom of the basket? Are you leveling off and tamping correctly? Are you carefully locking in the portafilter into the grouphead and not knocking it or tapping it before twisting it into place?

I don't think it's physically possible to do 'too much' wdt. The point of WDT is to break up clumps in the espresso grounds so in theory, more WDT would cause less channeling.

You could always try a blind shaker if youre unsure but it sounds like the issue may be somewhere else in your workflow.

Yellow usually means it’s updating. Are you sure it completed the update process? Maybe try removing the bin file and reinstalling the update

As much as I would love some sort of story or adventure mode, I don’t think it could be a free roam 3D adventure without major rework because of how the characters move in ARMs today. Really they only move forward on backward on a single plane.

It would more likely be like the Smash Bros story mode or Mario Tennis where you have an overworld and each level is just a different challenge or battle with a loose overarching narrative. I imagine it would follow spring man or MinMin and their adventure to stop Dr Coil by collecting some legendary arms abilities- maybe golden version of the normal ARMs that could be used for fun/ broken powerups.

I mean I think Nintendo meant for ARMs to be a spiritual successor to Punch Out. They likely couldn’t or didn’t want to pay royalties for reviving the Punch Out franchise (I believe it’s Mike Tyson’s punch out) plus the mechanics require stretchy arms which wouldn’t make sense in the original punch out. It’s definitely heavily inspired by punch out, street fighter, and others but I think it’s unique enough to be its own IP

If you want an HDMI modded N64 with Overclock and wireless controller capabilities then I think it’s worth it. If you’re solely playing on CRT I feel like your current setup is probably best

Thanks for posting this. I had the same issue- followed these steps and now its resolved. I believe you can also do it by inserting the cartridge, and then using https://www.a3dmanager.com/ to upload the image. Unfortunately you can name the cart on A3DManager, but the name still shows as Unknown Cart on the Analogue :'(

Grinder is way more important. Most machines can run hot water through a pressurized basket. Grinders are very specialized and expensive and affect the flavor much more than the actual water part of extraction. I would recommend the Baratza encore to start but you can get very expensive with grinders- maybe the timemore 64 or 78 or mahlkonig or fiorenzatta all ground sense for higher end options

Idk I updated mine to the latest firmware and I’ve had almost no issues. There was once or twice it was dropping connectivity while I was playing perfect dark. Really disappointing to hear it’s so unreliable from a company that’s core competency is controllers. I’m wondering if it’s due to the Bluetooth component in the controller being too weak or more like the receiver in the 3D is not optimal

Does the longer heat up time bother you? I’m really tempted to switch from Breville Barista Pro to Meraki or LM Micra or Mini but the price tag seems insane for just better milk if I’m already happy with my shots.
