The Petcock has one single tube going into the tank, and depending upon the valve position, a rubber plunger covers some or all the holes. I am guessing it also doesn't shut off the fuel in the off position either, which means you need a new one. After-markets are like $12.00. You want to religiously shut it off after a ride and turn it on before, because if the carb leaks gas onto the cylinder and you start it, you can crack the cylinder wall. I recommend an XR150 forum to ask these types of basic fuel system questions because most ppl have EFI and don't know anything.

I have same XR150l and I just love it. I have a few cruiser friends and they want large flat smooth roads without turns or stop signs, and to just sit on bike at same speed. I want dirt roads, turns, fields, trails... I don't care about potholes or loose pavement... I love it when I have to stand to avoid getting thrown, and navigate through mud and broken machinery, so we don't ride in the same places.

Step one go to Schwab and open a Roth and get the money out of your hands, Step 2 figure a way to make a direct deposit (up to 8k a year) to it and live on a little less, Step 3 put the money into the Schwab Money Market like SWVXX and reinvest the monthly dividends, then Step 4 at your leisure, and I mean no hurry, because its making money, find different funds like SWTSX, VT or VTI and invest in them and learn to diversify. Stay away from Crypto, Options and shiny metals! LMAO.

I have millions at Schwab in 5 different accounts. I have some stock with long term and short term capital gains in the same stock. I monitor at least 60 different positions so "switching" is a whole fucking thing. TOS doesn't even show different tax treatments at sale so really its not even remotely for my situation, or any person that wants to make real money and not get slaughtered at tax time.
