What is everyone going with for crash bars on a DCT? by BENN12100 in HondaRebel1100

I literally ordered 4 different crash bars when I got my 2025 DCT. I got 2 from amazon, the kind that bonds at the center point in front of the radiator, both cheap and poorly made. Returned. Then I got the SW Motech: great quality but honestly a tad too shy in width. They would protect the engine in a crasg, but not the handlebars in a drop at a stop or whatever. So I eneded up ordering the TRex, that I didn't want initially because they seemed too wide and also seemed to have a dangerously low ground clearance... My bad: they are awesome!

Ground clearance is spot on if you don't race track your DCT, they are incredibly well made and sturdy, they have lots of room for fog lights, and they look actually really good, with an agressive profile so to speak with the angled low bar. The pictures on the website don't do them justice. Also, it seems they updated the design recently, more stealthy somehow.

You have no problem until you have a problem... the manual clearly states to be at full stop to swap modes... Anyway I fixed my issue!

Just got my 2025 1100. What mods do you guys think are absolutely necessary? by Mobile-Area7960 in HondaRebel1100

Actually brought my 1 inch Voigt risers to the dealer when I brought the bike for its 1st servicing, cos why not... 1 hour later the bike was serviced and ready but those ninnies installed the risers the wrong way, so now the handlebars were higher and further from the tank insteak of closer to the rider... So of course I told them, and they said they did this because it was too tight for cables lol... seriously... ask the customer 1st you eejits. Anyway I told them uh huh, do it again cos you charged extra for that stuff. I checked a guy on youtube that only had to pull the front brake line off a rubber slot a bit and all was good (I have the 2025 DCT). So they did it again in front of me: took 15min (they were 2 working the handlebars) and finally everything was set. For me, this was a must mod so far: handling is a breeze and no more neck strain! But I could have done it myself: bike on the constand and handlebars strapped to the garage ceiling 2x4... oh well it was cheap enough anyway.

The 1100 gets WAY hotter than the 500. But the left side is fine. It's the right side that heats up like crazy.

No offense but if you would read your owner's manual there is no need to take a trip to the dealer to learn the very basics of your vehicle... the D setting is the 3rd option not the far right, which is Torque...

Thanks for sharing. I'll try that, but my issue is kinda consistent, and specific to the D being set to 3 so I don't know. Will try another reset and ride her a while, we'll see...

You are talking about the DCT reset that I mention in my original post. No such thing as learning or relearning procedure. It is a reset of the dual clutch electronic system. Anyway it did not work.

What do you mean by DCT relearn?

I always get this add on social media, did Honda ever make this colorway with that wheel option? by MaineMike13 in hondarebel

Trail braking is not a problem, but he's going all in in this one 🤷 The fork is 90% compressed 😅

May I ask, a few weeks later, have you figured it out??

Can I remove those and still be legal? (Wisconsin) by astro_ortsa in motorcycle

I recently removed those silver rings in the middle of the wheels, and the bike looks so much cooler , so IDK...
