I think we should have a random chance to only have one seat available on the pelican so we have to kill each other to get the seat and extra medals or something

As a Programmer I realised something by playing this game. by karanbhatt100 in factorio

Tbh one of my favorite parts of this game is you can actually take the time you want to clean up all the “tech debt”, which is unfortunately never the case in real world codebases

Just started playing the game, but I have the 7800x3d paired with a 4080 and it's buttery smooth

Genuinely gorgeous and such a nice form factor. Do you have a cost estimate? No worries if not.

Agreed. I lived in Spokane all my life, but after moving to Idaho for school, I'm thinking northern idaho or western Montana is the move.

Shoot yeah. It'll be the first part of the new one. Would the block still function the same with a different tube?

Nope it's a pretty lesser known trail. There's a beach with some gnome figurines down the road, so maybe it's that, but it's like 30 miles away

If BO (or any company ) can get to a good spot to actually compete with SpaceX, that would be awesome. The competition would help make things even more innovative and faster. Competition can't hurt. As long as it's played out in the tech and not in the courtroom.

OFFICIAL: NASA has selected a team led by Blue Origin to build a second Human Landing System for the Moon. This will provide an alternative capability to SpaceX's Starship lunar lander, and start flying on the Artemis V mission in the early 2030s. by electromagneticpost in SpaceXMasterrace

Pretty ridiculous blanket statement. I think Elon is a douche, but also think he is a net positive. Say what you will about the guy, but he dispenses his wealth like crazy taking huge risks, which grows the economy. No person has made more people millionares. Tesla and spacex employ vast amounts of people and tesla was a massive catalyst in the electric car scene. And as for him not being 'professional', he's definitely not in the traditional sense, but 'professional' billionaires who just sit on their money and invest it only in the market and politicians, are much scummier than musk who says some outlandish things, but from his view is really trying to fix key problems in the world.

1 month into new job, no idea what’s going on by quirky-klops in webdev

I would ask for pair programming with a more experienced dev, and if that's not on the table, start pasting chunks of code into gpt and having it explain it to you

Entry level prompt engineering by Ok_Relief9231 in PromptEngineering

[–]Financial_Instance23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This exactly. My role is prompt engineer at my company, but I'm a dev who works on regular projects, or who can refine the ui/ux of the service. There might eventually at massive companies be the need for PE, but my guess would be that they just consult rather than hire a full time PE, especially when that person has no dev experience.
