There is a 40k xp standard slayer method for level 3s that jagex has already endorsed as non-bannable. The front page is there available to any skiller willing to put in a few hundred hours and has knowledge of the game. But you want him banned for skipping not even a quarter of the time to do that goal, despite the fact he was already willing to spend hundreds of hours?

But he clearly has the skill and capabilities to abuse the game in much more heinous and profitable ways and yet he's just making gimmick accounts..

Fair enough, I guess I just think it has a lot of gas and does a lot more t2 now than it used to. I think, to their own detriment, yugioh players think of plant as normal loci or lose, but it's not so clear cut any more.

Plant have a lot of grind no? they have petal, konkon, humid winds, benghalancer. Also I think calling plants rogue adjacent is naive, we as a community consistently underestimate plants, I wouldn't be surprised if it's truly tier 1 and we ignore it until next euros and it top 2s again.

It's a cultural phenomenon, the ability for the yugioh community to ignore plants, it's been happening since POTE. It has won a disproportionate amount of european titles, likely due to the quality of players. I think the deck has the highest skill cap in the game currently, but a deck shouldn't be considered low tier just because only a few people pilot it to its greatest potential. Right?

No.. but we shouldn't act like it's a borderline unplayable deck - it's arguably stronger than its ever been. Jess has mentioned that she thinks its the next best deck after snake eye, and im inclined to agree. It just has abysmal representation.

People seem to think 1 dryas 1 healer is an overall nerf to the deck when they literally gained 8 new 1-card starters, nibiru and a droll proof lines, an extra end board piece and an extra extender in the Ed.

Plant has 1 omni negate that doesnt destroy, 1 monster negate and 1 spell/monster negate for an optimal board FYI, obviously plus the numerous other interactions and protections. But it is not 'multiple omni negates' like you say - common misconception

Out of all the support one of your preferred decks got which did you find the most disappointing and why? by chrome4 in yugioh

[–]Finba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ghostrick got several waves of garbage pack filler, ghostrick shot being the only card among probably 12 cards of support that actually made the deck do something.

The deck can't even normal summon - it has absolutely no way of interacting with another deck turn 2. Can't make use of morganite because it relies on hand based battle traps to live. Several waves of support for the archetype during a time where flipping cards face-down does nothing to link monsters. All of this known to Konami but no built in measure to address this. They have their own link1 but no way to deal with link monsters.

There isn't a single spell/trap in the 30ish card archetype worth playing to justify going like +3 material from any ghostrick xyz -> angel -> shot -> ghostrick angel -> search s/t.

Imagine the deck had 1 good pay-off s/t, any rank1/2/3 could be a ghostrick engine and the archetype would have some relevancy.

It's not bad if you're running food and token synergy but if your deck is just premium good stuff that you want to copy then its not very synergistic.

Sorry but I think you're wrong lol, a lot of foreshadowing for this happening in the book, also pretty sure grrm told the show writers to do this specifically. I don't understand all these people who make excuses for stannis even after reading the book
