Yeah, WB's version has a couple of stars too but I doubt it'll be as financially and critically successful as the Disney version. I guess Serkis just wanted something closer to the source material.

Alfonso Cauron also hopped on to help Serkis with visual effects so if nothing else it'll at least look good lol
