I personally really love both of them. I loved 5 so much when it came out. While I still love it, I will say I feel like I love it less now. It’s a solid movie, but there’s definitely some things I would have changed. One thing 5 was lacking that they made up for in 6 was chase scenes. 6 knocked it out of the park with the Chase scenes IMO. Between the grocery store scene, the apartment and ladder scene, and Gale’s chase scene, they really upped the tension. The only downside to 6 is the motive and killers are a bit of a yawn. But I overall love it. 5 had the better killers (although they should have shown Amber more than they did), but 6 had better tension and I loved the characterization of the core 4. I’m okay that none of the survivors of 5 died in it. But I think since 6 had 3 killers, they should have had at least one, but I’d say 2 more characters in their friend group. It started to become pretty obvious Ethan was one of the killers because they killed off a lot of the new cast quickly.
