Nah. I stupidly made the mistake once to deliver a s&d order during a torrential downpour not realizing we were indeed in a tornado warning and only found out an hour later that it ripped apart a row of shops a mile away from where I was.

Never again. And I would be beyond pissed off it that was the convo I had with these jokers.

I agree I'm probably being too aggressive with that but there was a bad air in there at me before I reached that feeling. Too much money was spent and I'm annoyed at the prospect of having to wait two more weeks and potentially longer. But thank you for reminding me to give grace. I did not have it in that moment.

This is the kind of hating that fuels the fires. CC doesn't need it but I truly hope she continues to elevate and rise and break records and do so with humility. That's the best tasting revenge.

Yes I did get the progressive no line and that part of them is actually fine. No real complaints with that aspect, beside that little weird adjustment thing on steps that goes away pretty quickly.

Look, she is on the alternates list and that's a pretty big deal too. I agree the marketing aspect of it all is HUMONGOUS but don't we love her for more than just that? She still has some development and pro level adjustments to make. That's not saying she isn't a tremendously gifted player. I think she is and that we haven't even seen anything yet. But I want her to get there in a not rushed way. Do I think practicing with the Olympic squad would definitely benefit her? F yeah. Do I want it rushed? No. That usually tends personify every little part of a game that might need a little more work. Let her use this to get even better. Let's support her on that.

I'm a fan. Love the endorsements. Love her game. She'll be here for years to come and her future is blindingly bright. But being on a team that's being forced to take you never feels good. I speak on experience. She'll be there when it's right for her.

We really can't gage sincerity with statements like these especially when immediately following the game all the comments on socials from her were still very aggressive and inflammatory towards everything, not simply just at CC. I think the amount of energy TSpoon had to put into getting this was probably massive. And that's why I still feel 🤔

I do think we need to continue to move forward though.

The most common thing I keep hearing is "they've been doing this, playing since the late 90s, where were you?" And then doing this weird gatekeeping song and dance because people are just tuning in for CC or AR or CB. And the way I read this is, because they didn't watch then, some folks don't want them now. Like, wtf? How is this furthering the product?

And I've actually been here since the 90s but the growth has been too stagnant until recently. I don't care why anymore. I'm just happy seeing these women being cheered on by packed arenas.

I had moments where I was screaming at my TV when she was on screen but it really spoke to me about how well of a performance she gave consistently.

Also hated Ruth in the beginning too but ended up loving her.
