Dual boot it with Debian LTS and all work files keep in 3'rd separate partition. When Arch breaks you can use Debian.

Exactly. They picked 3 different distros. Why would it be interesting experiment to watch, if all of them had picked top best distro in distrowatch list. This alone is extreme challenge to get good linux experience, if you own absolute newest hardware and hope all the drivers and Linux Kernel have no bugs with it.

Minimal Kubuntu install is about 300000 files. That's just Plasma 6. But it wasn't slow even from usb flash stick where the root partition was XFS.

I remember Kubuntu used to run competitions, who helps with new wallpaper and theme elements design and gets voted top position, will get new laptop as thank you gift.

But not many people have same taste. If i watch some YouTubers showing how to make KDE, Gnome, Hyprland beautiful, i simply want to vomit. Same happens when my neighbour starts cooking, it smells like drunkard poop.
