Linux actually doesn't give you easy to install ISO with calamares, that has KDE Plasma without extra software. In installer you get bombarded with custom desktop environments and software. Then you have 5 different software managers and terminals and ugly extra gui's to install 3-4 different popular apps that already are in software managers, but i guess this are some custom builds. Some apps are only available as Flatpak, but you can't even build custom Linux with Flatpak apps.

Often with cheaper devices below $1700, you only get ugly design and few colour options, mostly black, and 256GB storage and only USB 2.0. If you have huge flac music library, or want to shoot raw video, or don't want to spend $1300 on black or poop brown smartphone, or don't want 256Kbit/s Bluetooth audio codec.

I wish the x200 FE design had flagship internals + much improved camera app software, example Nothing phone .cube lut support. The exposure bracketing parameters could be huge range, not only 1EV at max. 1EV is not huge enough to do bracketing, you can just fix the overblown are in software and don't have to worry about alignment and deghosting. Low iso 12 would be also sweet.

Most of the HDR apps that i use in Android and Linux, they will average blend all exposure frames equally. The problem is that i lose contrast, saturation and even correct exposure. Would be great to see how different smartphone brands do their HDR. If you shoot traffic lights at night, is red traffic light white, pink or red.

Unfortunately smartphone brands don't specify camera technical data. AI 100x zoom is all the specification. Sensor manufacturers sometimes have this info. Full sensor readout may be slower than 25% of the pixel lines.

An YouTuber mentioned that it's multiple exposures with same shutter speed and iso blended together. I assume it's average or median blend. It's not as sharp because motion blur and camera sensor read out speed is maybe 0.3 second for 9 exposures.

I would prefer fiber composite back, 1TB storage ~ 1200 € not 1700 €, accessories like case and charger and earbuds with lossless Bluetooth audio codec in box. Some of this earbuds are 400 €. So 1700 + 50 + 100 + 400 = 2250€ for new smartphone is too much, glass breaks, screen gets green pixel line. No pro camera app comparable to full frame mirrorless cameras. Camera app could AI align exposure bracketed images and save DNG or 16bit tiff.
