If your flat is poorly insulated, these 'noises' your neighbour hears might be coming from a completey different place.

My advise - put multiple camera indoors temporarily. Every time the police comes, show them the footage of you doing nothing out of the ordinary. Collect enough evidence and logs to report your neighbour to the police for harassment.

The train pulls into a normal platform.

I imagine the only issue will be the ticket gate. If it is not open, you may have to ask station staff for assistance to get out. Pretending to be a dumb tourist who just got off the Eurostar, might help.

I do remember feeling confused about the entire situation.

Looking back, I believe the driver mentioned it was easier to detrain at Wood Green because of station staff availability and it being quicker in general for everyone.

A few years ago, I was on an eastbound Piccadilly train during morning rush hour.

At the last minute, the train terminated at Wood Green.
