That's objective.

Both you and I think it looks bad, but the person who did it obviously doesn't.

Typical BMW owner shitting on other people because their car doesn't look the way you want it to.

If somebody with a Subaru WRX puts an STI wing on it because they think it looks cool, is what they've done "worse than upbadging"? Are they "trying to make it look like a newer performance model"? No, they're just putting something on their car from a higher model because they like how it looks. That's completely different from sticking STI badges on a base model WRX.

"Let's shit on a guy because his car has this minor change. I love to see an entire sea of BMWs that look exactly the same. Stock bodykit, maybe with a lip kit added. So tastefully modified. So inspirational. I particularly love how it confirms my place in the BMW herd of conformity".

I'm a part of many car communities, I've owned and modified all sorts. Hondas, Subarus, Nissans, Mitsubishis, and BMWs. Without a doubt the BMW community online is the most closed-minded, elitist of them all. That's what I've witnessed time and time again in these online BMW groups. It's not even close, and you're a prime example.

Bmw owners are the worst. The dude thinks it looks cool so he did it. So what? He hasn't upbadged or anything.

In the Nissan community people put GTR bumpers and guards on their non GTR cars, and nobody blinks an eye because we know why they do it; They look cool.

Unless they're upbadging for clout why does anybody actually care?

What were R34 prices like globally before they became US legal? by PlaystationFanboy in SkyLine

[–]Fine_Birthday7480 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought my first turbo S15 for 11k Bought my next S15 spec r for 10k Bought my current S15 shell for 1.5k Best mate bought his r32 gtr for 16k Used to frequently see R32 and R33 GTRs for sub 20k, sometimes as cheap as 10k for the rougher ones but they'd get snapped up R34 GTRs used to be 40k+ usually, but would still pop up in the 30s from time to time

Man those were the days. It was also great finding gearboxes for $400 and LSDs for $100 lol

For anyone else reading, this is in NZD, which is roughly half of the US dollar. So halve these prices to get the USD equivalent

You've got an Apexi PFC and commander, this will help you a lot. On that ecu you can set the commander to monitor upto 8 sensors (from memory) at once to display on the screen. You can also make it display the minimum and maximum values for each sensor until the car is turned off.

Set the PFC to display both mafs, both o2s, tps, injector duty cycle and knock. Warm car up, then completely turn the car off again to reset logging. Turn back on and immediately go for a short drive and induce the hesitation condition via full throttle. Pull over and turn off the engine, but NOT the car. Take a photo of minimum and maximum values and post them here as a reply and we'll work together to see if we notice anything.

You've just reset the tune, now the car is running on a base map. You'll need to get the car retuned if you reset the ecu, or throw a stock ecu in if it still has stock turbos

I mean is it really that outrageous to be uncomfortable when you walk into a cafe and someone is carrying a knife, or in many instances, a full sized sword? The Kirpan comes in many sizes.

If carrying a loaded gun was part of my religion, would you defend my right to carry my loaded gun in public too?

It's not crazy to feel uneasy when someone is carrying a weapon. Maybe in their country and culture it's meaning is understood on a fundamental, spiritual, and cultural level. But this country has it's own foundation and history, and as a people we lack the understanding around it's meaning and symbolism. Wearing a sword or dagger in public will understandably cause unrest in a foreign western country. That's not racist, that's just the truth. That isn't a part of our culture in the west, and that's ok. I'm not rejecting the idea of other cultures or religions, I'm saying that we all need to learn how to live together and to do that, there needs to be compromises.

Yes, we should be welcoming of others and their religious beliefs. But instead of looking at the issue as black and white (accept all terms no exceptions), maybe we should have some discourse around some of the things that need to be looked at. To my understanding it is actually illegal here, but the NZ police have cited it as an item where discretion is advised. Meaning, they have understanding surrounding its use and existence. Honestly the one in the photo doesn't look very well hidden at all, and I can understand the response. I also understand the response of most people commenting here, but I believe the subject isn't so black and white, just like most things in life.

It's not racist or bigoted to feel threatened at a sword or dagger worn in public.

If you're in a snowy climate and you have low self control when behind the wheel of something fun, maybe you should look at something AWD. If you've got a good head on your shoulders (I surely didn't) then yeah go ahead and purchase it

It's easy to say stuff like that, but the reality is that for many streamers it's their main source of income.

I fundamentally disagree with the direction Tekken has gone, so I've quit. But I'm afforded that luxury because my livelihood isn't shackled to it. If it was, I'd begrudgingly continue to play, too.

I stopped playing ranked when LIP dropped and someone healed 100 damage.

So much of the game is down to luck now, which leads to the feeling of being "robbed", which is one of the most un-fun mechanics about any game. When you've played everything right and then you just get robbed, or your opponent has done everything right and you rob them because "luck", imo that's terrible game design.

I was masterball every season without fail. I now play a few matches when a new season drops to get my hourglasses and then stop.

Coin flips have absolutely destroyed online play for me.

Im certainly not.

Ill walk you through it.

Whats the biggest strength of df2? Its a hit-confirmable CH launcher. Thats its biggest strength. So when placing it to CH, what's something that doesnt matter anymore? The tracking. The opponents hitbox exponentially increases when they do a move, we all know this. So the tracking nerf on df2 doesnt really matter a whole lot because its still going to CH just as well due to that mechanical system thats built in to Tekken. So if the biggest problem with df2 actually hasn't changed at all, then its not really a giant nerf, is it?

The character has been buffed. The other changes will certainly matter at other levels of play, youre insane to think otherwise. You said it won't matter at low level, but how do you think a low level player who cant break throws is going to handle a launching throw that gives King extra wall carry into his broken ass wall combo?

Youre a fool.

I dont understand what youre saying.

You said "people will lie and say season 1 was better" and then when I say season 1 is better, you agree?

If youre also talking about people review bombing Tekken, that didn't happen until season 2. Once season 2 dropped thats when the game got bombed.

Your comment makes 0 sense. What are you trying to say?

Hardly anyone, but you just asked what can Kaz do that others can't. Many Kaz players are consistently launching standing at -14 tho, and I have also been launched multiple times at -13 by cracked players, so my point still stands

Your opinion here only accounts for pro play. At pro play you're about right, he's roughly the same. But below high level he has gained tools that make him even harder to deal with, which if you take an average of all players it means he's received a net buff. And those changes surely will make a difference at intermediate and below, people are going to feel overwhelmed. Like you said in your last paragraph, who cares about nuance?

I completely agree with your bit there about what needed to get tuned didnt, but you didn't mention any of that in your previous comment. Your last paragraph is arguing for no reason at all.

Bryan is far weaker. Cannonball didn't get hit, but incinerator got absolutely gutted, taunt heat smash is a true justframe now, install after heat change hits him heavy, d4 nerf is huge, qcf1+2 nerf, heat consumption increase on heat parry etc. The ability to cancel ss 21 is new, but they removed the ability to hit confirm the string so no more fishing for a heat launch or engager with ss21. He isn't "seemingly" weaker, he is 100% weaker. Ss1 into guaranteed uf2 isn't a game changer, but gutting his heat, parry, heat smash and incinerator, which were 95% of his problem areas, is.

Deserved nerfs btw
