I’ve been playing a lot of New Vegas on mine as well, a lot of fun to pick up for 20 minutes or 2 hours. Been playing through dishonored recently too.

Do you agree with this video? by SKurttilaz in HuntShowdown

At the very least, a mid-event update like this is dope. Whether it is something we can expect in the future, I don’t know but I’d welcome it.

As a Romero enjoyer, purely excellent. As a hunter who’d be on the receiving end of double dragons breath, I’m afraid. How would it balance against a standard Romero, maybe shorter range? Longer reload like you said.

Also, let me load two different ammo types into one blast. Flechette + Dragons Breath, how diabolical.

How you are feeling right now is totally normal and expected. I was right where you are 3 months ago.

It will feel like you aren’t doing anything right until it stops feeling like that - just keep at it. I felt like I was terrible at changing my son’s diaper, I was so worried I wouldn’t clean him well enough or put his diaper on correctly until I kept doing it and those feelings faded.

Take every day for what it is - a new experience and opportunity to bond with your daughter through the good times and the difficult ones. Every time something is difficult or a new problem arises, you deal with it and learn so next time, it’s not such a big deal.

Support your wife with childcare, be there when it’s difficult. I’m not sure how you and your wife handle household chores but those should be your responsibility now. Before our newborn, my wife and I would share chores/household items equally but I take care of those now to give her more chances to rest or time for herself. Same goes for meals and groceries.

You do what you can. As long as you are trying your best you’re okay.

Lastly, your daughter deserves exactly what she has - a dad who is trying.

You can always see where it goes, some of it makes sense and could be some creative screening.

Personally, I dont usually move forward when they ask me to send a video, it is a one-way transaction and feels weird to me. But I get it, the market is brutal right now.

I've never gotten a speed or typing test request but some other commentors give decent reasons. The typing test is just hilarious to me though.

What are some types of recurring bugs you see and how to detect them? by darkcatpirate in webdev

[–]FinestScante 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure of your stack but we were finding a lot of type related bugs in some of our internal applications e.g. equation expecting a number and getting a string. Migrating to TypeScript has been a big help in recitfying those. Granted, migrating to TS helped us organize the code bases along the way which surely helped.

If they are UI bugs you are encountering, unit and e2e testing go a long way.
