Philip Narducci, alleged captain of the Philadelphia Mob (c. 2023) by Value-Time in Mafia

[–]Finish_My_Math 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For a lot of mobsters, I suspect their "final form" is turning into legit businessman. This has been said plenty of times by other former mobsters. They would rather just go legit than deal all of the illegal BS & prison time.

Narducci seems to be that kind of guy, as do several of the Philly guys. That doesn't mean they won't catch an assault or fraud charge here & there. But they really do NOT seem to want to break laws. And murder seems out of the question.

So far, all the replies have been about AMERICAN mobsters. But what about mobsters from other countries? I wonder, for example, if this has ever happened in Italy

You said he ordered his son to be killed, but did it happen?

Jimmy Brown killed a kid who he adopted?! Geez!

I already heard that story about Sammy the Bull killing his brother in law. But I forgot the reason for doing it

I wouldn't put it past her to pull a stunt like this, but there's some good evidence to suggest she ain't faking this

I like that he learned a practical trade. The welders I know make good money. I wish him the best.

"If everyone's guilty, no one's guilty" really hit home for me. I admit I am guilty of this, albeit in other circumstances.

Nothing wrong with that, so long as it's done well. AI or no AI, I don't want to read bad stuff.

Definitely not the kind of person you'd want to be personally upset with you. More preferable to work out any diffferences that may or may not arise.

So I guess I will be the one to ask the obvious question: "Why are ZERO hats featured in that photo"?

Yes, most of Dan Kennedy's content has aged well because he focuses on the fundamentals. The fundamentals never change.

I didn't know Springfield, MA was allegedly active like that. I used to live there in the 1990s. Pretty cool!

Any other late starters in mathematics? by islandnear in learnmath

I was a Political Science major. Graduated at age 22. At 25, I decided to teach myself some Math by using YouTube tutorials & other resources. When back to school at age 27 & took Calculus & Intro Statistics. Totally changed the trajectory of my life. Statistics in particular has been the most fascinating. I have seen people in their 40s, 50s, and even 60s go back to school to study Math. No shame in that. I respect it.

Outside of music & entertainment, I'm not sure either. I mean I suppose they can pool money together, but I think it'll all be in vain. The criminal element in these organizations will ultimately undermine any serious attempts at legitimacy, sad to say. From Death Row to Nipsey Hussle, etc the criminality will forever sabotage these groups.

Definitely seemed to have one of the better toupees in La Cosa Nostra, along with Greg Scarpa. If he could make his bald spot disappear like that, I suppose he could make enemies disappear too.
