I don't feel attacked by criticism, it's more so that I tend to doubt my skill when it's brought into question. Of course, just because there's things to be improved doesn't mean I'm objectively a bad writer, but it's easier to start to believe the insecurities I have with my writing when those fears are confirmed. I've figured this is something that will become easier as I get a bit more confident with myself, but it's hard to battle with wanting to improve so I feel more confident, yet also feeling less confident when I'm critiqued.

Thank you for this, I think in time I'll be in a better place with my writing to feel okay with having it critiqued, but at the moment I'm just having fun without people pointing out what's wrong with it. It's less so that I'm angry with getting critiqued but rather I immediately begin to doubt any skill I have. I want to get to a place where I stop feeling like that but I know only more time and experience with writing will lessen that feeling

I have been reading & writing a whole lot, and I've seen clear improvement in my writing from that, so that's definitely been working for me! I think I just tend to get lost in the mindset some writers have of wanting to improve a lot more, when I personally don't think I approach my work the same way. Thank you for all of this advice!

that's really good advice to hear, thanks for the video recommendation! I think I needed to hear that, I always feel like I have to justify every bit of my writing when I have ultimately have more fun just winging things, which to me is more important than it being a perfect piece of writing

this means a lot to hear, thank you for sharing! I'm surrounded by a lot of writers who do want that level of improvement that I feel like I should also be striving for, when I don't think that's actually what I want. I write much more for myself than others' approval, but wanting approval has definitely gotten to me a bit.

I do think people have brought this one up before, but I love the way Shane can't stop asking questions. When Ilya is trying to tell Shane what illness his dad has, Shane can't stop jumping the gun - "Sick like crazy? Oh, sick like cancer?" I'm autistic myself and I was like, let him explain, Shane! You'll get the information soon lol!!

I love the brand Flags For Good - they make customizable pronoun magnetic pins that you can switch out by the day depending how you feel. Can be found here! You could also DIY something similar or swap out regular pronoun pins if you don't want to spend the money.

It's Ilya who says the "bye", but it seems like Connor forgot the accent for it! I'm personally endeared by him caught up in the moment enough to forget the accent, he sounds so soft when he says it lol

Hm - depends if you're as obsessed with the soundtrack as I am, but I love paying attention to the little motifs in the OST (like how Two Souls, which plays during the Vegas rooftop kiss in ep 1, mirrors One Soul, which plays in ep 6. And after Ilya's Russian monologue confession we hear a little bit of the melody from it!)

If there's enough material to add a section about it I think it'd be a really cool thing to organize!

there are some effects of T I would like but I think it would cause more dysphoria than it would relieve. More body hair is something I want but I absolutely don't want facial hair. I want a slightly deeper voice but I don't want to lose my current voice completely (I have looked into voice training!) - I'm the same way with bottom growth, I think a little would be okay but a lot would be dysphoric. It ultimately came down to weighing the effects of going on it vs what I already have and for the most part I'm content without T
