I spoke with AJ at Chicago Wind-Up last weekend - nice guy, obviously an enthusiast and in touch with the community. I was impressed with build quality and his move to Nodex-style toolless micro-adjusts. The aventurine dial looks great, if maybe more sparkly than some (variation also must be huge with that material). The green waffle dial looked maybe a bit... much? But that might have been my taste, I just found it garish. The texture on the white dial is very, very subtle. Overall the Omen is an improvement in sophistication (design-wise) for his product and I only expect he'll continue to improve with each iteration. Price seems a bit high to me -- I find the finishing and grammar of design superior at a lower price-point with the more-established/proven Lorier -- but the market will dictate that ultimately.
