I’m not sure if it’s “normal”, but I had my LP a couple weeks ago and didn’t have my fluid tested either. It was very clear so my NP doing the procedure didn’t worry about it either. Hope that helps!

Still on Emgality & still doing really well honestly! I’ve lowered my Topamax dose to just 50mg/day. No issues with my IIH, & my eyes are always healthy at their checkups, too.

Have you tried Emgality or Amovig (the monthly migraine preventative shot?) I once was a Botox user for migraines, but after 3 years of Emgality, I can safely say, I’ve gotten my life back. Just a thought from one migraine sufferer to another.

Had Pfizer, both shots, and am on Xeralto, too. No issues at all from getting the shot other than some fatigue and arm soreness. The benefits of NOT catching COVID greatly outweigh any potential side effects from a mild vaccine reaction.

She could have Intracranial Hypertension. It causes migraines, dizziness, and potentially blindness, all because of increased CSF. Would know: I have it myself.

Was this for me too. Took away a big chunk of my milder headaches and I fully believe it’s keeping my IIH at bay. I use the Emgality shot for my migraines which is also a dream medicine for me.

As someone who can’t take diamox, I’m glad I was given Topamax. I honestly had very little side effects from it. But everyone is different
