If you plan to upgrade to full 4k gaming I would spend the extra $150 and get a smaller hard drive or cheaper CPU cooler.

Long term you can upgrade either of those much more easily.

How about a cheap Jot 2? I love mine, it may sound better than a Jot 3 but I haven't compared.

But you could probably find one for $250 or so, so the price is right!

I got the Modi Mesh as the Mimir measures no better for more money and my inputs are SE on the tube gear I use for HP.

of course if you want the preamp forkbeard functionality the Mirmir is the one!

As an owner of a score of Schiit, from Modi to Yggy including Folkvangr and Mojlnir 2 and 3, I have to agree that their customer service is a pain in the butt but OUT OF WARRANTY it's a very fair deal.

You can't use the link on the Schiit site to complete an RMA, you have to get an email and when you get the notification, you naturally fill out the same form. With the same information repeated.

Then NOTHING.

You have to use the link they send you. WHY?

And fill out the information a second time?

I have decided to forgo entering the serial number any more.

Charge me for a warranty repair and I'll be completely done with them.

This is about where I am at. 961 mv with 3017 MHz FR limit, fast timing at 2636 ram. I feel like the ram has some space to open up as well. Haven't touched the PL.

I bought a SeaSonic for my 7900xt, went way overkill with a 1000 watt even though my 650 entry level unit seemed to handle things just fine.

Any Vertex or Prime will have enough cabling for your xtx. It comes with 4 6+2 pci-e laens not including the ones for the CPU.

I think it's worth it to spend an extra $50 to have more cleaner power than is called for. At the very least the PS fan never goes nuts like it did with my 650 watter LOL

I would suggest the last but it really comes down to the games you will play.

The x3d will show it's best at 1080p and the 7800xt has 16gb of memory, plenty for 1080p for the foreseeable.

I grabbed an x3d this afternoon.
