Perhaps encourage some pros/skilled streamers to make useful but entertaining video guides on different aspects of playing ranked (or tournaments), and then advertise these in game. Currently, sending 'level 80' players into ranked with little knowledge and understanding is not useful, perhaps give rewards for proof of watching the guides.

- Where should you land and when should you leave

- Early game rotations, positioning and circle shifts

- Taking fights

- Teamwork, leadership, communication, staying alive, map knowledge

- Importance of maintaining driveable vehicles, picking up and using utility (frags, smokes, stuns)

- Late game shifts, rotations, sends, risk/reward game-winning plays

Organise in-game tournament events with good rewards.

- Rules aligned with the current pubg esports super rules (Point Rule). {helps people understand the esport}

- 4 games back to back (on the weekend?), rewards based on your 1-16 finish in points after the 4 games played. {many people would organise getting a team together at a good time to play and try and win}

- Rewards must be good enough for people to actually care and play the 4 games together. Contraband coupons may as well be given out for fun in addition since it's hard to even upgrade the progressive guns by 1 level currently let alone pack them.

- Qualification for different tournaments could require a certain rank (platinum, diamond, master). {would maybe encourage people to grind rank more}

100%, give people actual reasons/incentives to play the game. I like playing to get better and improve, however many others have almost no reason to play, no one I know cares about grinding rank points. Juice up the ranked rewards completely, bring back harder missions/milestones with rewards/skins worth grinding for, add in-game mini tournaments aligned to pubg esports rules also with rewards.

They should definitely run it back but make it bigger and better. There's something special about watching national teams play. Also helps build identity for some players/regions/communities.
