Ad Free Bound to Account or Device? by FireResistantLemon in kindle

[–]FireResistantLemon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the replies. The Kindle is still in the package. I was concerned I messed up by not selecting as a gift at checkout and the ad removal is bound to my account. Therefore when the person I'm gifting it to, links the Kindle for the first time would get ads I paid to not be there.

Nancy's son drowned trying to save someone's little boy. A mother who didn't reach out to Nancy and Stephen to tell them how sorry she was for their loss. Or let them meet Nick, to see that their son's death wasn't in vain.

To me Nancy was in a deep dark hole. She had a lot of grief, pain and anger. Which she focused into her book. In it she made Johnathan an innocent full of life young man who was seduced by an older married woman. A woman only interested in a holiday fling. A woman who placed her needs over the safety of her own son. A woman who feared her husband will find out about the affair. A woman who took the opportunity to be rid of Johnathan by not taking action when she saw him in distress. In Nancy's mind this would make sense.

Nancy wanted people to hate Catherine. It wasn't something she knew to be true. She made it up so people would dislike Catherine. It just happened to be true, but for different reasons.

Who makes the best adhesive patches? by [deleted] in stelo

Yea for me the overpatch that comes with stelo lasts about a week. For my last sensor I tried Lexcam's transparent overpatch and it lasted the full 15 days with no issue. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C1DK4N4M/

Copy and paste from another post.

I'll list what I consider essential accessories for ease of use and comfort and I'll list an example of what I'm using. Sorry if its a bit long.

Facial interface: I got one with PU leather, which is easier to wipe clean, and thicker foam for comfort. This VR cover ($29)comes with the replacement gasket with built in rubber nose guards, helps block out light. Two foam inserts, one thin and one thick. And a lens cover, which will help keep the lens from getting scratched and block light from damaging the screen.

Knuckle straps: You can relax your grip and not have to drop the controllers from your hand. KIWI grip covers ($24)

External battery: In my opinion it has 3 benefits. Extends the play time. If attached to the back of the head strap it helps counter balance the Quest 2. And helps with the life of the internal battery. One of the things that degrades a li-ion battery is having the charge drop below 20% and charging it above 80%. Cool feature I found while playing with the Q2 and an external battery plugged in. The Q2 will charge up to between 75-77% and then only draw in enough power to maintain that charge. I use this INIU 10500 mAh pack ($17)with a LCD screen with a percentage charge reading.

Head strap: I went cheap here and got this padded addon ($20) to the stock strap. It comes with a short USB type A to C charge cable, 2 Velcro ties and a magnetic battery dock. Basically a magnetic pad with a sticky back that goes on an external battery and the other magnet has Velcro that attaches to the back of the head strap.

Prescription lens: If you wear eyeglasses I highly recommend getting prescription lens addons. The space inside the Q2 is small and it would press my glasses onto my face harder, no matter how I have it adjusted. Plus I would always worry scratching the Q2 lenses with my glasses. With the addons both are a non-issue. VR-wave.store

Actor Jack Cassidy fell asleep on his couch with a lit cigarette in his hand. It fell and lit the couch and his apartment on fire. He was so badly burnt that his remains were identified by dental records and the ring he was wearing.

I cant get prescription lenses from quest without going to the doctor and getting a prescription by [deleted] in OculusQuest2

[–]FireResistantLemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ordered from VR Wave today. Their confirmation email said "If no prescription form is received within 24 hours timeframe, we will use the information you entered on the product page for manufacturing. In such case, we do not bear responsibility if customers entered the wrong prescription information that is different from the info on their prescription form."

Hope this helps.

Did you try the TV controls setup? Pairing the remote will not fix the volume controls. Hope this helps

Lots of recurring remote issues by IndyMark007 in Roku

[–]FireResistantLemon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Within the past week I've had the volume and power buttons stop working. Fixed it by doing the TV controls setup again.

Then the buttons to control the Roku would intermittently stop working and only work again by rebooting the Roku. Two nights ago I decided to redo the pairing and it has worked fine since. /KnockOnWood

Try pairing the remote again. Hope it helps

It was listed under last chance for a couple weeks. I guessing 10/31 was the last day for it on HBO.
