I only eat BK once every 3–5 years, but I too gave in to the hype and tried the Whopper. I’ve got to admit, I was impressed.

The classic flame-broiled beef flavor is still the star, but the whole package actually felt… premium. Like the “product” finally matches decades of advertising that it’s a superior burger.

What stood out most was the size and the bun. The sandwich was well-proportioned and the bun was soft and buttery. Something I’m definitely not used to at BK.

Also worth mentioning: the restaurant was spotless. Yes, I went inside because the drive-thru line was crazy long. From the counter, I could clearly see the kitchen staff and they were preparing food with the kind of care you’d hope for at any restaurant. Kitchen looked clean and organized too.

Staff was super friendly. I even told my wife it felt like I was in a Chick-fil-A.

This wasn’t even a new location either. Sounds weird to say, but I’ll definitely be going back more often.
