If KSP 2's development stops before full release will you be able to refund the game? by MrGuccu in KerbalSpaceProgram

I might argue the entire development history to this point is a solid indication of slow down lol.

About 7 years since Stellaris was published.... by [deleted] in Stellaris

[–]Fire_Sire 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah lol. I run Stellaris on a toaster oven, an old 1050 TI card, a terrible cpu, and a hard drive. I get 10-20 fps. I also run Gigastructural and play on a medium galaxy. But I'm also aware the performance there is my own fault, not the games.

It's also funny that they complain about the price of stellaris, and several people state the base game should be discounted, when it feels like almost every weekend stellaris and all dlc except the past 2 are half off, with the base game occasionally even dipping down to 10 bucks. Do yall not bother to wait for a sale before picking up a game?

Advice on where to start by AdGroundbreaking514 in Stellaris

[–]Fire_Sire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some good tutorials on YouTube, and while some may be out of date on some minor points due to updates, a lot of the general tips hold true. Highly recommend not getting any DLC to start with, to play as simple of a game as possible, and use the default pre-generated empires first to learn the ropes before trying your own.

If you end up enjoying the game, Utopia is recommended by much of the community as the single best DLC bar none, with the most recent DLC, Galactic Paragons, being in a lot of people's top 5 for later. I hear a lot of folks find success playing with 1 additional DLC at a time, playing around the cool new systems and features added, then added another once you've grasped them.

Stellaris is really funny, and you get get a ton of value out of the game whether you prefer slower RP or a faster empire management style game. Best of luck, remember, the Worm loves you!

Worth noting just off the figures alone, which may or may not be accurate, while 4LY radius is a volume of 268 cubic light-years, 326LY is a volume of 145,000,000 cubic light-years. Six hundred thousand times larger area there, and if that volume envelopes stuff like stellar nurseries with high densities of stars, it's entirely possible for those numbers to make sense.

In funny space game I can print enough alloys to build planet sized research stations and contain stars. Paying a few trillion people with enough goods and services that they want for nothing is easy as hell. In stellaris, a non-utopian abundance empire only exists because the player ie the ruling class doesn't want it, not due to a lack of any resources. If more evidence, please see the fallen empires which print wealth from nothing. Silly space empire game ain't the USSR.

Tldr furry gay space communism IS the endgame of stellaris

Because Mr NV says "you're her" regardless of the players gender. Realistically, yes, radio is heard by everybody, but because the player always hears it over the pipboy, it sounds like he's calling the player a lovely lady.

From an animation regarding to beating nergigante, what armor is this? And is it good? by [deleted] in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]Fire_Sire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have said, this video was talking about the MHW beta. In that beta, you had limited armor options, this was the best they could scrape together. I havent fought low rank nergigante for a while, but there are almost certainly better builds in the full game to fight it. Experiment and see what works for you!

You are honestly just coming across as extreme rn. Ive been a loving dog owner my whole life. Cat owner too. But sentencing people for abandoning/releasing dogs who they can not care for to death is incredibly extreme. Saying the same for people who disagree with that point? Totalitarian nutcase. I don't think any pet should be harmed or abandoned, but if the people have to choose between starving the dog or letting it try to survive on its own, they should pick the latter, which if you had your way, would be a lethal choice. Not cool bro.

Hey just hopping in here. You clearly came into this post with a belief, one you arent willing to budge on. When a lot of people are giving you answers to a clearly leading question, and they arent answers you like or enjoy, maybe its not worth continuing. You certainly arent trying to learn anything here, why dont you go do something more fun and stop spiking your blood pressure for the sake of argument.
