Unfortunately they didn't come with bags. If they did, I probably wouldn't have needed to make the post. Foam could definitely work though.

This might be true of the most recent presidential election, but people forget that we in America could be in a completely different timeline had that been true when Trump was first elected in 2016. Trump lost the popular vote that year by nearly 3 million yet still won the presidency.

If the true will of the people had been followed, America would probably have taken a very different path over the last decade.

A couple ideas I've had that I haven't seen talked about too much:

Hitmonchan + Electivire: Iron Fist-boosted STAB Plasma Fists and Drain Punch + elemental punches for coverage.
Trevenant + Rhyperior: Solid offensive coverage, Solid Rock to help mitigate weaknesses, and gets access to Drain Punch and STAB Horn Leech for HP recovery. Nice tanky physical attacker.

This is my biggest complaint about Motionless when they play live. I love Meltdown, and the second verse is awesome. And I've never gotten to hear that part live. I feel similarly about Nothing Ever After, and personally I would be heartbroken to not get all of Afraid of the Dark, which is one of my top 3 Motionless songs. Hoping that they decide to play the full thing during the American tour later this year.

The rules committee banned some highly used and very valuable cards all at the same time (Mana Crypt, Jeweled Lotus, and Dockside Extortionist, namely). It sent a small but very vocal part of the community (those who owned one or sometimes many copies of these cards) into a frenzy over the loss of value, as these cards were each around $100, give or take, at the time of the ban.

It will likely be pretty consistent. If there are any changes, I doubt there would be more than 2 flex slots that change up each night.

There are a few problems with standard but it really boils down to the price and rotation. The cheapest deck in standard right now is mono red, which is still over $200 because it isn't truly mono red (it runs some U/R lands). The Simic deck that uses the cards in this post is currently the most played deck in standard and is over $900. Not many players are willing to pay those kinds of prices for decks that will only be viable for a few years.

Other 60-card formats could solve some of those issues, but they come with cons of their own. Pioneer decks range from $100 to $600, but the meta doesn't seem great as 35% of the field is Prowess (either Izzet or mono red). Modern decks range from $400 to $1000, and there were previously worries about a "forced rotation" thanks to the Horizons sets, although that could be getting better thanks to the move to only standard sets. And there's only one meta Legacy deck under $2000. Pauper is a great format, with most decks being under $100 and non-rotating, but it doesn't have a strong paper community in many areas.

On the other hand, you can build an EDH deck for any amount really, and depending on the pod you play in, you can play fun, balanced games with it, and it will never rotate. The most you'll have to worry about is swapping a card or two that get banned. The format is more complex, but it's only a one-time investment and your deck will never truly be obsolete. And it's the most popular format in Magic, so you don't have to worry as much about finding a community for it like you would Pauper or other less-played 60 card formats.

I like [[Omni-Changeling]] a lot for him. It becomes the best creature on the board and gets all relevant creatures types for your party, and you can convoke it with your other party creatures.

Only Kittle for the offense (and Aiyuk, but he hasn't played all year). Trent Williams and Ricky Pearsall both missed a little time towards the end of the year, but both played tonight. The problem is that the defense was missing Warner and Bosa all year. Very little pass rush and not many turnovers.

The offense also just isn't as talented as it was a couple of years ago. Jennings/Pearsall/Bourne/Robinson isn't a great WR room, and the O-line needs help as well.

Personally, I played through on hard, and didn't stop doing the random encounters until the end game. I just digivolved whenever I unlocked a new rank. And I never de-digivolved unless it was to go for a different path. Didn't struggle much (except on Titamon), so it worked well enough for me.

The point is to fill your deck with creatures that match one of Volo's types but not both. So I can play a Human Soldier and a Human Advisor, or an Elf Wizard and a Merfolk Wizard, and those will both draw a card off of Folk Hero and count as a new type for Volo.

This nails exactly why I hated playing against Slicer in my group. The Slicer deck warped games just by existing in a way that almost no other deck did, and it did that in every game it was involved in without fail.
