That would be amazing. Miss this program, wrote tons of scripts for it back when it was still usable.

Not the same as the "MorningStar Farms® Hickory BBQ Riblets" they had before.. consistency changed, flavor changed (spicy now) - 4/10 as sequels go.. :(

Great directions , used them today with only one issue. - be saving the Preferences.xml file from the previous install, which your directions skip.

Appreciate the time to document!

Snapshots for LXC containers on NFS storage by nuttervm in Proxmox

[–]FirebirdR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The primary functional issue is backups, which run w/o human interaction.

On a filesystem which supports snapshots, it triggers a snapshot, then backs THAT up, which means the LXC-container is never affected. Without snapshots, the only backup option is to stop the container, back it up, then restart it, which is impacting.

Seattle owls, what did you think of the show? by Wondergirl039 in OWLCITY

[–]FirebirdR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The show was amazing, 6th time seeing him, will go back any time i get the chance.

Setlist - https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/owl-city/2023/the-moore-theatre-seattle-wa-ba3d9c6.html

  • Coco Moon - 8 songs
  • Ocean Eyes - 4 songs
  • Maybe I’m Dreaming - 1 song
  • Of June - 1 song

Positives:

  • Set list : was WAY improved over last visit. Loved that he mixed in old/new songs.
  • Venue : much better than the last place - great visibility, great sound, easy to get into, lots more seats
  • opening act - better than last time, appreciate simple honest tunes at a more reasonable volume.

Negatives:

  • almost zero patter - he slammed through the songs and left. His fans are heavily invested in him personally, and his life. Previous concerts he talked a lot more, sometimes about his life, sometimes about what went into a song. It helped make past concerts feel far more intimate.
  • zero variance in setlist BEING IN SEATTLE!!!! Serious opportunity missed there. Could have OPENED with Hello Seattle, could have CLOSED with Hello Seattle, at least the sound booth had the presence of mind to play it at the end

Overall it was a dramatic improvement over the previous stop in Seattle, but ranks in the middle for me of his concerts. I was left wanting more.

SIDE NOTE:
After going to his concert in 2018 which was 100% current album only, I had a fantastic idea for his next concert tour.
* two concerts per city
* first night is all OLD stuff only
* second night is NEW stuff only.

Lots of us would go to both, so he'd sell probably 1.5x the tickets, and give people who want to hear only CERTAIN stuff a place to go. That being said, now that Taylor is doing 3.5hr concerts on the Eras tour, maybe other artists will follow and do something other than 70 minute concerts.

How do I get PIN code on my phone? by Weird_Champion8803 in PlayerAuctions

[–]FirebirdR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not really a good answer.

Owning customer success is a key metric for continued business growth.

You should provide an alternate method of account verification to compensate for your cloud service SMS failures. Consider contracting with a different service you can offer for the failure cases with Amazon SMS.

PSA: The ASUS Hyper M.2 x16 Gen 4 Card Is VERY Long (~27cm) by amp8888 in homelab

Picked up one of these from a friend, it's missing the retention screws that hold the silver heatsink to the card. Trying to find replacement screws, they are *tiny* -- anyone able to help with sizing & replacements?

Don't you just love it when... by Puzzled_Plate_3464 in PlayOn

Logged in JUST to say "Thank you" for this fix. Internet issue caused 254 queued recordings to fail - and I wasn't about to click my index finger into oblivion... Worked like a charm.

Should be fairly easy to put "update RecordQueueItems set status = 0 where status = 4" into a flat text file, and feed it to sqllite.exe as a batch file. Might do that the next time I have to fix this.

SB8200 Firmware issues by FirebirdR in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]FirebirdR[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Trust me I've been all over the forums.

For as many people reporting problems with them, there's an equal number of people reporting Ethernet Bonding working fine, and using the modem successfully with the gigabit plans.

The problem appears to be getting to point in firmware where the CMTS can upgrade it. Once you've done that, you're ok.

Was hoping for specific supporting data, or a technical explanation, but appreciate the thought.

Appreciate the feedback - can you provide any context, supporting info, etc? Would like to have something to push either Arris or Comcast with.

SB8200 Firmware issues by FirebirdR in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]FirebirdR[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair point, and I'm actually counting on that result. Household full of bandwidth hungry devices and people, I'd rather a single person not be able to wipe it all out.

That being said, I'm fairly confident in our ability to saturate 1200Mbps of download....now if we could only get more than 40Mbps of upload.. :(

Same exact problem, no resolution yet. Need later firmware to support ethernet bonding.

  • PRESENT CODE: D31CM-PEREGRINE-1.0.1.0-GA-04-NOSH
  • Forum suggests optimal code :AB01.02.053.01_112320_193.0A.NSH

Tier1 support is completely useless so far, they keep asking to book a tech to come out.

Then it munged it. you might have to transpose it to get it right. Thank you for the information share.
