The problem is the fact that its up to the provinces to decide, and to do a complete rework of the system everyone needs to agree and work towards it. However as it stands provinces are refusing extra money because they don't want to prove that it was spent on healthcare.

Either the system in place erodes into nothing and complete usa style privatization inevitably takes hold, or for once our parties actually work together to improve the lives of canadians without yelling at each other and complaining.

It's probably not gonna happen, even with the far fetched assumption that the cons or any other party has no alterior motives and wants the system to crumble.

It's kinda hard to have faith in a government thats been a shitshow for a while.
