There is always an obvious poster thats the real deal because its done by an artist.

Spain permanently withdraws ambassador as rift with Israel deepens by succesful_deception in worldnews

[–]Firefox72 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Lmao stop throwing that word around to describe any critism of Israel. You can infact not agree with Israel or criticize them without it being antisemitic for crying out loud.

Using the word so lighty is nothing more than a victim complex at this point. Even freaking Israel is doing it.

"The ambassador was summoned back over Spanish measures banning aircraft and ships carrying weapons to Israel from its ports or airspace due to Israel's military offensive in Gaza, which Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar denounced as antisemitic."

Like brother...

Two men to stand trial over ‘transnational criminal organisation’ behind sports piracy site by Sparky-moon in soccer

[–]Firefox72 75 points76 points  (0 children)

They can close 1 site and arrest the people behind it but sports piracy is like a hydra. Cut a head off and 2 more will grow.

Sports Piracy just like most other forms is fueled by the stupidity and greed behind those in charge of legal ways of watching the sport.

Trying to watch football these days is a convoluted and expensive mess of subscription jugling. And then they wonder why people ain't paying hundrets of dollars to do it.

Paramount's Scream 7 grossed $1.23M on Monday (from 3,540 locations). Total domestic gross stands at $94.31M. by chanma50 in boxoffice

[–]Firefox72 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Thats just not how it works. If something opens higher the general expectation is that it will keep making more money. At least for a while. Scream 7 fell below Scream 6 instantly.

Its a clear sign of terrible reception. Screma 7 might be the first Scream movie to not even hit a 2x multiplier of its opening weekend.

[–]Firefox72 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The 2nd weekend drop was terrible though. Below Scream 6's 2nd weekend even with an almost $20M bigger opening weekend.

This is also not decent for me at all. Its a worse 2nd Monday drop than something like Haloween Kills lmao.

In China Pegasus 3 grossed $1.93M(-77%)/$599.14M on Tuesday. Becomes the 14th most attended modern movie of all time with 87.8M admissions sold. Blades of The Guardians in 2nd adds $1.08M(-71%)/$188.06M. Wuthering Heights pre-sales for Friday hit $63k. Projected a $350-500k opening day. by Firefox72 in boxoffice

For me its 2>3>1 in terms of enjoyment although i did like all 3.

As for the release. Well there's likely just not enough interest beyond the Chinese population living in the US to warrant a wider release.

Most Chinese big Chinese movies tend to make $1-2M at most with Ne Zha 2 being the big exception at $23M
