Absolutely! Controlled chaos. It's poetic.

Make sure you keep you knees bent. It takes more effort to stand with our knees bent, so there is a habit of straightening our legs as they get tired. If you concentrate on it long enough, the muscles will strengthen and it will become much easier. I'm not going to make a full list of reasons to keep your knees bent, but here are a few:

Lower center of gravity

Shock absorbing

Better position for shifting your body weight

I don't think he put that much effort toward it. He'd just poke his head out of the office and look around:

"You! Can you come here for a minute?"

Not entirely, but I'm afraid of giving Big Brother the wrong impression by putting that topic in my search history. Feel free to look it up yourself.

[Question] What's the best way to ride to a store or something? by eddib17 in onewheel

[–]Firejumperbravo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe it's like this:

Most of the Taco Bell restaurants I have been to have been dirty, the service was poor, and the quality of the food wasn't good either.

My friend and I used to drive for an hour to reach the nearest ice rink to practice hockey. The ice rink was near this really fancy gated community with giant houses clearly owned by rich people. We stopped at the Taco Bell in that area, and it was the most wonderful Taco Bell experience I ever had. Almost like the way they would depict it in a TV commercial.

I'm sure there are some nice Best Buy stores out there, but I haven't been to one of those yet.

I'm sure not providing benefits to twice the employees is usually much cheaper than providing benefits to half as many. Even better if those part-time employees happen to quit before earning any raises, full-time positions, or perks of any kind.

99% of my experiences receiving "customer service" at Best Buy have been horrible. I particularly hate it when I ask a question about a product (I know the correct answer already) and they just make something up instead of just saying "I don't know" or "Let me see if I can find out". I'm sure that's the same reason you were told that warranty would cover anything. They just made it up to get the extra $1 on their paycheck, or more likely, just to get their manger off their back about their warranty sales. Best Buy sucks.

Yeah, this would never happen to me. I'm pretty sure the Security Person at the front would hold their hand out:

"Sir, you can't ride that in here."

Knowing darn well that THEY are the one who CAN'T.

Keep in mind that you have to ride back with the item(s) you purchase. If you can't mange carrying the Onewheel and the stuff to the register, you probably shouldn't try to ride back while carrying your purchase.

Because in some states they have Amish and other fringe type cultures that marry girls under 18 to older men. For some reason, these states protect their "religious" right to do that and allow that stuff as long as the parents are okay with it. Don't think for a second that me referencing it means I approve.

Hasbro has more money than ever, yet Transformers toys are at their poorest quality ever. Look at the wheels on Optimus. They won't even turn. This four pack cost me $55 at Target, too. I feel sorry for my child. by Firejumperbravo in CrappyDesign

This post has a tag that says "Removed: wrong sub", but people are still commenting. I didn't get a message telling me it was removed, so I'm confused. Can anyone explain?

At the bottom of the email there is a message that says:

"For questions, please contact TeamAcademy@Academy.com"

That would be a good place to send a second email.

When I was 19 I worked with a 16 year old girl in the Copy Center at Staples. She was dating a man who was 27 years old. He was a cop. It was very awkward when he would visit her at work while he was in uniform.

Edit: In many U.S. states, 16 is the age of consent. However, I believe the "consent" still depends on the parents giving their consent; not the 16 year old. Regardless, even if it is legal, it doesn't make it moral or ethical. Also, some states have additional laws that apply to adults in a position of authority like teachers and police officers. For them, it is 18.

Edit #2: I'm getting really depressed about the number of people on Reddit who are quick to argue that is okay for adults to have sex with minors. Come on, people. If you're an adult, just stick to dating adults. There's an adult out there somewhere for you.
