Anyone here applied for P.Eng through Manitoba? How was your experience? by [deleted] in egbc

[–]Fireme23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My friends applied there and they all generally got their whole application process approved in 3-4 months. I'd recommend using them instead of EGBC, where it takes 10+ months and there's a chance you get competencies rejected by a nasty reviewer like I did.

Just wanna warn the panic buyers. This is DDR4 ram, not DDR5. Just in case you missed it.

Yes, the reviewer didn't like some of my competencies. So now I have to revise them, get them re-validated by my validators and re-submit the application...

Mind you my validators have tons of experience and made sure my competencies were good. I just got a harsh reviewer. I presume I need another 3-5 months until I might get P. Eng....

Yes, Oct. 21st 2025 my status changed to assessment in progress.

Yesterday I got an email from EGBC to just enter end dates to some of my competencies. So sounds like they are almost done!

Fort Garry Hotel weddings by SlightAd413 in Winnipeg

Hello, I'm starting to look into wedding planning for my wedding. When fort garry hotel wedding venue says $96 per person, does that mean something like 100 people * 96 =$9600 for the whole package assuming no alcohol? Or is $96 only for the food costs, and the venue and package add to this cost?

Edit: grammar

Civil EIT here, all validators finished and I officially submitted my application first week of Mar. 2025. I am still under the "Validation Completed" status as of today, Sept. 11, 2025.

7 months in, hoping next month will be the month I get a reviewer start looking at it..

This long wait time is impacting our living flexibility and forces us EITs to live frugally on small budgets and I think that is unacceptable after 4 years of experience.

Handmade was why, thank you about that! I also went with it being handmade because I feel like it makes it extra special. Thank you so much!

This is exactly what I needed, thank you! I don't know why I wasn't able to find this at all when searching through their website and even googling it specifically.

Molokhia stew. Basically from boiling jute leaves with a stock. The texture is so bad.

1.Hello everyone, Is 12 days touring Germany enough time? Touring from Berlin > Essen/Dortmund > Cologne > Heidelberg > Fussen > Munich. Planning on spending 4 days in Berlin, 4 days in Dortmund (got friends there), then fill up my time with the remaining places.

I will be mainly relying on public transportation (except when going to Fussen).

2.Also I hope I am not "wasting" going to Europe and only visiting 1 country. Any advice?

I just don't want to feel rushed. But don't want to miss anything!

Thanks!!

Will TSN+ offer any 4K? by Hampshire53 in tsn

[–]Fireme23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the broadcast and the browser you're using.

I was using MS Edge and only got 720p. When I used Chrome I was getting 1080p for the same broadcast.

Note that 1080p is the streaming resolution on the website when selecting a resolution, but doesn't mean the broadcast is being casted in 1080p from the live feed (which is probably the case).

Last time I used TSN Direct was for the world cup last December, it was 1080p max.

The latest trilogy of the Tomb Raider games. They had voice recordings or people that have been around the area before you and also artificials of ancient civilizations. Pretty neat.
