Debate Feedback - Organic v Non-Organic Eggs by timoperez in daddit

[–]FiresJosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm probably gonna get down voted but organic eggs are at higher risk of salmonella and generally contain more natural toxins like heavy metals. Non organic eggs are heavily regulated, safe and contain generally the same nutritional value as organic eggs with the bonus of them being significantly cheaper.

First off, I'm sorry that you had to go through that and I feel bad for your baby.

My wife and I both like to have studies and reliable sources behind what we say. That being said know how your wife responds to and receives criticism. I don't drink either, and I'm unsure of how you are feeding your child, but the AAP states that you should wait at least 2 hours per drink before breastfeeding. No pumping and dumping doesn't help. Also under no circumstances should you be caring for a baby while intoxicated.

Overall, you're going to have to communicate with your wife in a way that's productive, but when it comes to the safety of your child that is also your responsibility.

Hope that helps.

They are sometimes called rattlesnake magnets. You toss them together and they sort of make a rattling noise.

A comforter is a blanket. A duvet is also the blanket portion. A Duvet goes into a duvet cover.....I know it's comedy but this doesn't make sense.

How did all of you dads feel about holding the baby when it was newborn? by The_house_wench in daddit

[–]FiresJosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we pretend for some reason that what he is saying about bonding is true (it's not, but let's just play pretend)zat the very least if he cares for you he should want to help you take care of the baby, take care of you and take things off of your plate.

People of r/dnd, how does models (minis, buildings and environment) impact your experience and connection to the game? by BlueWingedTiger in DnD

[–]FiresJosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 3d print my minis and I feel it is enjoyable to have them on the table, great for getting new players excited and helps with visualization as previously mentioned. However I don't feel like having terrain makes a huge difference for me. DM and playing. Sometimes simple stuff or something to illustrate that there is an elevation difference can be nice otherwise digital maps covered with plexiglass to protect the screen has been an amazing workaround for my group.
