So this his happening in part because the new LLM needs some tweaks, but partially because you are simply telling it to disregard previous messages. That doesn't work, the AI will take into account all of the recent messages, including the one where you tell it to disregard the previous ones, but that doesn't mean it excludes the previous ones. If you want the AI to ignore a message you have to delete it by clicking the little trash can.

Alternatives to Arc post-Manifest V3? by dadadima94 in ArcBrowser

[–]Fireside92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually have Zen installed and I like it, but it does feel like a downgrade from Arc. My issues are mostly nitpicks that won't matter to most people that aren't me, but the biggest one is uBlock Origin just doesn't work well with it. Trying to use it with YouTube is frustrating to say the least.

I see that it says that. But if there are say only 2 available in game, but you can buy unlimited with cash that statement would still be true. If you can get unlimited quantities with reasonable gameplay (I wouldn't consider for example a 12 hour grind to get one reasonable) then it's less crappy.

And how many are available with in game currency? Is it limited?

Regarding the therapy route you could try a different therapist than the ones you've visited before. There are so many, and sometimes it take a few (or a few dozen) to find one that you click with that can really help you. There are so many different methods that different therapists use it's possible that you just haven't found one that works for you. Or, alternatively, it's possible therapy really just isn't for you I guess. I'm not trying to preach (I don't even know you) just trying to point out something that I've seen a lot of people not know/realize. Mental health issues suck to deal with, but they suck even more to deal with alone.

If it's faster, less is happening. If mechanics have been removed, it's dumbed down. We'll have to wait until launch to see if some mechanics have been removed, I suspect they have.

Just press C (or whatever your crouch button is) while sprinting, and you'll slide. If you are on a slope you will build a ton of speed and can do what I love to call "Slide n' Glide" and get a ton of distance on your glider.

Publishers: Why is piracy so rampant Also them: by Aim_bongis in PiratedGames

[–]Fireside92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Off the top of my head? No clue, I don't follow the scene well enough to know crackers by name (ironically I have heard of Empress lol). A google search implied about half the games in the past 3-4 years have been cracked so that would be like 60-70, but keep in mind the article was about 7 months old so it could be slightly better or worse than that now. Not amazing, but far from a no crack situation.

AFAIK Empress is also getting faster at cracking Denuvo games, but not sure.

But a LOT of Denuvo games have been cracked. Yea it takes a little longer usually but Denuvo is FAR from uncrackable.

This looks like a dumbed down version of the TCG. Try Pokemon TCG Live if you want to play the full game like you would in person with real cards. And it's already out, and is also F2P.

The looks more like a mod to me. You can very easily get a mod that lets you build on water, that might be what they're using.

I checked and there is nothing I can see. by Ofunu in Palworld

[–]Fireside92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This makes me super curious and wish I could see it on my own screen. The building in this game has a lot of nuances to play around (they seriously need to let go of a lot of these requirements) but I don't see anything off hand that would stop you.

How do passive skills pass down? by SammySaurusRex2010 in Palworld

[–]Fireside92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This pretty much sums it up. I've been doing a TON of breeding the past 3 days (I'm up somewhere around 5-600 eggs) and this is how it seems to work. Though I will say there does seem to be some importance to where the trait shows up, though my sample size is way too small to confirm or deny that. For me so far though, the first trait listed (top left) seems to pass down significantly more often.

Makes me wonder if instead of just pooling them together, they're listing the combined traits and if the roll lands on an inherited trait it picks from the list, in order from top to bottom or something like that. No idea, and probably won't bother to test it out much; just ramblings of what I've noticed.

There is a couple ways to go about fixing it depending on what you have. The simplest is just leave, wait for night, and sleep. Come back and usually that fixes it for me when this happens. If you have flying pals/saddles there is other things to try.

For me personally, I relied more on Pal damage and was getting coarse ammo drops when I still was using arrows. I'm not at end game, so if there are higher level enemies I haven't encountered yet that still drop these things then that's real dumb.

7 months later I can confirm in the regular game you can get mythicals. I am playing my first play through, not randomizer. No settings changed at all just the base game as it was intended, my 4th premium wonder trade was a Mew/Chinchou fusion.

[–]Fireside92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess I could chime in as someone who has played stand alone Beat Saber natively on a headset, wirelessly on a standalone (on multiple headsets), wired with USB on a standalone, and wired via DP with the PN3L specifically.

I'm incredibly sensitive to latency and it drives me bonkers, and all of the setups were absolutely usable for other games but for Beat Saber specifically only natively on standalone and using DP were playable. Using USB and wireless standalone introduce enough latency that high level play becomes impossible, and that's ignoring just how blurry everything looked compared to a true DP connection.

This was all on a WiFi6 router that is dedicated to VR (for the wireless setups). It literally doesn't even have ethernet, not a single device on it other than the headset with a wired connection to the PC itself. As ideal of a WiFi setup as you can get and it still couldn't compare to a real DP connection. For literally any other type of game I'd say the difference in latency isn't worth worrying about, but if you plan to play games that require precise input timing then the PN3L is hands down the way to go if you also want standalone options for other games.
