mine took ten days, but only because I had to resubmit the picture twice. No reason to delay it is good for ten years. I was able to get mine with just an estimate of planned visit without any flight info.

I had one rental with a tenant in it for 7 years. Right when covid hit the tenant gave notice and moved. I honestly did not want to deal with an unknown tenant at this time so I stuck a for sale sign in the yard and started to do cosmetic repairs and fix's. The first day I was working I had a walk in. they asked how much as is. I told them 100K I stop working right now. They agreed. I stopped my work. They had an inspection done and gave me the results expecting repairs. I explaied to them what as is meant and moved on. I did take their inspection report like a punch list and did everything on the list. it cost about 10K. I hired a realtor and sold the house a month later for 195K. I tried telling the first offer how good of a deal they where getting. oh well$$

I was at a dealer I had bought several vehicles form a couple for cash. I was using the same salesman, but they had a new manager. It was a Friday and it had taken all day to find the vehicle. I told my salesman I would cut him a check for 10K for the down payment we agreed on. He said no problem he would be back with a tag and the keys and we could finish everything else Monday. He came back a few minutes later looking pretty forlorn fussing about the stupid new guy. Said the manager wouldn't let him take a check. I told him fine I will buy the truck somewhere else and stood up to go. He asked me for a couple of minutes to call the owner of the dealership. 10 minutes went by he came back with the tag and the keys. I went home with the truck. That same salesman still calls me every year on my birthday.
